Rocks vs. Sox WS thread

Well, FXDC, the Sox made it to the Big Show...I married my wife in 2003 she'soriginally from the Boston area (Fairhaven) and her dad and brothers are like you...die hard Sox fans. I moved to Denver in 1992 (inaugural year of Colo. Rockies was 1993)...I was at the Rocks first draft day party (they took David Neid #1)...I remember Eric Young's homer (first Rockie to ever step up to the plate...hit it out of old Mile High stadium)...I've been to over a dozen or so Rockies games over the years but since '95 the Rockies have been pretty stagnant up till now...having said that I've visited Boston a time or two and I've seen the fan base the Sox have got...impressive to say the least...TONS of history there...I'd LOVE to see a game in Fenway (opponents wouldn't matter, but seeing the Yankees/Sox there would be a blast!)...I don't give the Rockies much chance against the Sox (looking for a 6-game series myself) and hoping for at least one win for the Rocks here in Coors...I'm kinda torn on who to root for here so bieng the homer that I am I'm saying this...GO ROCKIES!!!!

The Rocks are going to wup the sox so bad that the sox will surrender after the first three games.[sm=trust_me.gif]

I can't wait for this series to start. I think it's a good match-up.

The first two games here in Boston will be starting at 8:30 EST.
That means the games will be ending well after midnight. [:@]

Once the sun goes down it gets pretty chilly now-a-days. I heard Denver just got some snow???

I predict this will be a knock down drag out series. I'm ready for some baseball!!!

First of all I want to say BIG CONGRATS[sm=deal.gif] to your team for making it to the WS with us...the current history-making streak that they're on is really incredible! I've been a DIE-HARD Red Sox fan my whole life & the first Sox/Yanks game I ever went to was the '04 game when Varitek & A-Rod got into it...most people refer to that game as "the game that turned our season around". I was about 8 rows or so back behind the Yankees' on deck circle...never forget that game! Ya, Fenway is a beautiful park & you gotta make it there sometime...a true baseball park IMHO.
Don't be so quick to write-off the Rockies yet! As I told a Cleveland fan after we were down 3-1...it ain't over till it's over! Anything can happen. I have no idea how it's going to turn out as I don't really knowJACK about the Rocks...only that they beat us this season 2/3 games![sm=insomnia.gif] (And at Fenway, I believe![sm=insomnia.gif]) What I do know is that if they're here in the WS they must have done something right?

13 to 1 in the 6th..............Man this is a blow out!

The ref's should just end the game now so everybody can get ready for game 2.

I just have to comment on Fox Sports and in particular, Joe Buck & Tim McCarver. THOSE GUYS SUCK.

I am watching the Red Sox winning 13 to 1 AT THE END OF THE 5TH INNING and these guys are calling the game like they are watching a wake. They are whining and practically crying...The Sox score 7 runs in the inning and all Buck says is: "and the inning is mercifully over". THAT WAS A GREAT INNING YOU BIASED $HITHEAD. First thing tomorow morning I am going out to buy an AM radio so I can tune into 68 wrko and listen to Joe Castiglione, I will not listen to Buck and that dumass anymore.
