Default which headlight is better?

Ok I am having some problems with my headlight. When I turn the bike on the lights comes on every once in a while but if I tap on the from of it it will comeback on. Now I have a sealed beam headlight now how are these lights as far as the vibration goes I have checkedall wiring and all is good . Its odd because the light will look really dim but I tap on it and she brightens rite up any suggestions would be great do I get rid of the sealed beam light.

CLEAN and chcck connections at the lamp plug, or the bulb itself could be flaky. I have had auto lamps do the same thing.
