Default Mirrors-Need More Visibility

I have a Fat Bob and I would like more visibility from my mirrors. I am wide, 46" chest. I need either wider mirrors or extending out a little more.
Does anyone have any ideas.
Thanks...

I saw some mirrors at the dealer in Winchester, VA with long extensions, so I know they are available.
I haven't been able to find just extensions for the Dyna, though (haven't looked too hard).
Have you considered wider handle bars? Just sayin.

Wider bars will help and I remember seeing some mirrors in some of the catalogs that have stems long enough to go fishing with. I have the stock mirrors on right now and they manage to get the job done. I bought some H-D silver/gold flames mirrors, round style and put them on. All I could see after I put those mirrors on was my shoulders, bummer. $80 down the drain.

I would like to find some stems that are just a little longer, a little will make a big difference. I guess if I have to I will replace them with ones that come with longer stems. Thanks..

I saw some at JP Cycles website, but said they were for FLH models, you might check it out.

I see a couple options there, I will call them tomorrow. They have some for Drag styles that are longer.
Thanks..

hey you got a few options... flip the mirros so they are under the bars not on top, you look aroudn you wrist but it gets around you back... i do body buildign so i know what you are talking about... i went up with my bar and with the apes you have no problme seeing... or you can get bar end mirrors that slide into the ends of the bars through your grips, or the old school sporty mirros are much bigger and have a much larger stem... I have an old set laying around i am sure... would trade you for your stock exhaust.... or i am sure we can work somehting out. PM me but i would try the other options first... they would look better than the old sporty mirrors... Try flipping em... I bet it works!

I put a set of these on my Ultra but they can be had for a Dyna too.

Part numbers were 91910-03A and 91909-03A. $28.25 each from M&M Cycles. Like you, I'm a wide body. They moved the mirrors out about 1" on each side. I was hoping for a little more, but they were still a big help.

One tip if you haven't already tried this. Sight across the bars and make sure the stems of your mirrors are lined up across the bars. Often the dealer will angle them with the bars, but lining them up will give you the widest possible view.
