my plug wires shock me? any ideas
she's a 47 ul 6volt so just a little shock

It may only be 6 volt but she's got enough amperage to give ya an afro!! I'ld replace the plug wires or just keep fingers away!!

The insulation breaks down on the wires. New wires and don't forget the rubber boots for each end. Do some searching and you'll find OEM looking wires.

Yep, old wires or caps that leak electricity.

Replace them with modern wires and end caps. You can use old-looking or modern ones and both should work fine on a 6-volt system.
