I picked up the mascot from PhatPhil on 11/10 in Azusa and now I have it in Yorba Linda. If anybody within 300 miles of 92886 wants it let me know. My schedule is pretty much booked for the rest of the year but I'll be in town is Sunday 12/23. If any of you wants to meet up let me know, we'll split the distance and the mascot is yours to move around.
Thanks,
nastyHD ,

Northern Ca, Nevada, Arizona speak up.

Thanks nastyHD for the excellent photos...if anyone wants to see the video of the same events...I can provide that.  LOL.  Were you the one taking the shots on the freeway on the ride away?  I'd love to see some of those.

I know folks want to get this thing northbound.... but I am in San Diego and can meet you for a hand off.  I will be gone over 12/22 - 12/26 but could meet up the following weekend.  It could hang in San diego for a bit and then try to get it north or over to AZ.  It will go in the direction where people are willing to meet up for a hand off.

Didn't it just leave San Diego?  If not north then get it back east to Texas!!  We'll take care of it and get it all over the state.

Some great folks worked hard to get it out her too us. The agreement was to have it for the pcific rally, then take it to San Diego, then send it north to Washington.

We need to move it north.

I agree! I remember the push to get it out west. I can meet somebody in Eugene, OR to pick up there and if I recall correctly shawn e. said he can get it from NoCal up to Eugene. The weather has tanked up here but I will go for it any way if we can get it up here. It may be a challenge to get a meet and greet going as we haven't had the worst of our weather yet and it has been fairly steady rain lately and the flood earlier this month has made folks hole up. It should at the very least be making a trip around Caliy there are some many members there why is it sitting still?

I see that the Siskiyou pass is getting snow in spots especially south of Ashland. That is going to make the trip challenging for anyone that will brave it. The snow level up here in SW WA is dropping to ~1000 ft level in the next couple of days though it will not stay there most likely.

Hey Dawg, if you check out this link, http://www.hdforums.com/m_197393/mpage_10/key_/tm.htm#2402266 it reads that at HeatherC's suggestion, a few of us here in N. Washington had subscribed to the idea of the Mascot staying south of us for the winter.  I looked at the road cams on I5 south of Medford and I wouldn't want to encourage anybody to risk the ride from Redding, CA to Eugene, OR unless they had a really clear weather window.   So I'm hoping that the forum members in CA and AZ get a move on and get some more signatures on the Mascot.
In the mean time, it would be nice if the forum members here in Washington would do a post at  http://www.hdforums.com/m_2190837/tm.htm
so we can get a head count of just how many folks we can get together with when the Mascot does show up.
I'm done, this will be my last post on the topic of the Mascot until the spring THAW.

wldbill, being a native Washingtonian I know the weather risks here. But that is not the point My frustration, besides the fact that the mascot didn't get north in time, is that the mascot is just sitting in SoCal where the weather is still rideable. Each winter is different around here but this year looks like we are going to see plenty of snow in the passes. So I agree that the mascot should stay south where it can visit other HDF members. But it is just sitting and I have watched as they have tried to get it moving. There are a lot of HDF members in California so I don't understand why the mascot isn't moving. Okay I'm done with my rant. We just need to encourage the others and work on getting our area ready for when the weather gets better.

I'm off the week between Christmas and New Years. I can get it from Yorba Linda and head north to Santa Barbara. Just need someone to hand it off to once up there.

Made contact with NastyHD to take the mascot north.

We're heading to Santa Barbara!

Anyone up for the ride tomorrow morning Sunday 12/23 meet at the Starbucks On Beverly Blvd in Whittier by 10am.

It's on Beverly Blvd .5 miles east of the 605 Fwy. It's on the corner of Beverly and Norwalk Blvd.

Looking forward to riding with NastyHD, 2mean, Jefe, designknd and his girl and anyone else who cares to ride along.

All makes and riders welcome.

Primo
