Default Hawaii

Wow, what a game. If anyone stayed up late enough to watch that was rewarded with quite a treat... one of the best games I have ever seen. Hawaii fell behind 21-0 after a few fumbles and slippery defense. Hawaii did not panick and pulled off a very exciting 35-28 victory to complete a perfect season. Colt Brennan was amazing as he seems to only shine brighter under pressure situations. Are there any records left for him to break? Hawaii should represent well in their first BCS bowl appearance.

They should go to a BCS game and I'd say let 'em take on OSU in the championship game -- I know their schedule is weak but other than that they are undefeated and it'd piss off all the 2 loss teams out there.

That was a good game, I am a Boise State fan and would like to wish Hawaii the best of luck busting up the BCS. Strength of schedule is hard to argue against, if you are in a weak conference. I understand how much more difficult it would be to run the table in a stronger conference, but does that excuse the fact that the B(C)S experts would never, ever, ever consider allowing an unbeaten Hawaii, or (last year)Boise State,(or year before last)Utah to even be in the conversation of playing in the BCS championship game??? What a load of crap, it is time for a playoff, it would benefit everyone. BCS teams could have a little lighter nonconference schedule, without worrying about the computers kicking them out of contention. At the end of the year, even a non BCS team would have to make it through a gauntlet of difficult games against the best teams in the country. There really isn't a reasonable arguement against a playoff, only sceptics that are afraid to admit that maybe, just maybe Hawaii could beat Ohio State this year. And what about those Broncos having a shot at Florida last year.....After all who was the lone unbeaten at the end of the season.... and was there ever a better game than last years Fiesta Bowl???

Unbeaten, Sugar Bowl bound... that's who. You should have stayed up late enough to catch some of their games, you missed a real treat.

Hawaii's coach sure didn't help them out tonight during the BCS show interview. All his smack talk with regards to Colt being more deserving of the Heisman than Tebow due to the offensive system they belong to is a crock of $hit! Tebow is 10 times the athlete Colt is!!

Couldn't disagree more... I wouldn't argue that Tebow is deserving, but Colt owns 20 something records. It's actually a close call. Tebow will probably get it, but it would be a shame for someone to break all the records and not get recognized.

I'm not saying he doesn't deserve some recognition, but athletically speaking, he isn't anywhere close to Tim Tebow. Tebow is a physically dominant presence on the field. Heis a cross betweenRoethlisburger andVince Young. Brennen on the other hand looks like a twig standing back there in the shotgun!! He has put up some amazing statistics, but he did so against a bunch of Girl Scouts!! He reminds me of David Klingler from Houston back in the 90's. I don't see him doing much in the future with the NFL. I highly doubt he'll be a 1st round pick, wheras Tebow may be the 1st overall pick wheather he wins the award or not. All smack aside, Brennen has had a hell of a college career. Hawaii should be proud. I don't think he has a clue what he's in for against Georgia though. That game isn't going to be pretty. I just hope nobody gets hurt.

Brennan is a stud, and didn't start out in the WAC. He was a big 12 recruit and landed in a little trouble. Tebow is a gifted athlete and is mobile ( for another year or two) , but Brennan would flat out embarrass Tebow in a throwing competition. Another overated, overinflated BCS ego. Georgia may beat Hawaii, and if they do don't forget that Georgia is #4 and one loss away from #1. Give Hawaii some credit, they have more talent than you think. Parity is here to stay in NCAA, the main difference is depth.

Man, have you even watch Tebow this year. To say he can't throw the ball is the be a fool. Tebow will be the Heisman winner for as long as he stays at Florida.
