I am up for a ride and I am sure Karen would as well. My participation is contingent upon my recovery. See an Orthopedic doc today and hopefully establish a time period for recovery. Since most fractures take 6-8 weeks, I may have to sit Jauary out as well. Considering the extent of the break and bone diameter, I anticipate 8-10 weeks for full recovery but then again, I'm no doctor even though I played one on TV.
Karen has been awesome!! She fusses at me for trying to help around the house. I stop and when she isn' looking, I finish up. She is absolutely awesome!! Have I already said how much I love her!?
BTW, hope to get a black cast so I can put the bar and shield on it!!

Hysterical! Dean is getting a new horse if he ever cares to ride with me again, and after this incident, won't blame him if he doesn't. I am in for next month. What a great ride yesterday that was very scenic and also met some great guys.Looking forward to it again.

As far as a ride in Jan. Why can't you go? Karen has a two up seat doesn't she? If not, she can ride yours!!!
First off, I know you guys - relentless when it comes to opportunities like this. Secondly, Dino don't ride bitch and lastly, my bike is too tall for Karen's exellent ass!!

I can't wait to see what else gets posted about my inability to stay on a horse who was running wildly and bucking like a rodeo bronco. I think I stayed on about 2 seconds. Do I win a trophy for the 2 second ride?? Oh yea! I do. It is called pain, agony, sleep deprived miserable condition! AND the worst part is I can't even enjoy Karen's excellent ass!! Any suggestions on how Iand only I can accomplish that? I'm sure Brian will have some suggestions. I am waiting with great anticipation and a little fear.

Maybe something headed toward Milledgeville and lake Sinclair, or even toward Columbus and West point lake. Not a lot of twisties either way but lots of beautiful country and (theoretically) warmer temps....
