Looks like another major a$$ whipping is fixin to go down in the national championship bowl game. The southeast conference pretty much owns ohio state,One could not help but notice how SLOW ohio state looked against florida last year, it was sorta like watching a college team play against a high school team.Ohio state has an excellent coach, and certainly has some great players, but overall team speed seems to show its ugly head when they play southeastern conference teams. Maybe this year the game will be competitive, instead of pretty much a one sided affair ! Seems the other bowl games typically are much better games and better matched competively than the national championship games. Last years BOISE STATE vs OKLAHOMA was the best college football bowl game i have seen in years !

Anyone notice how bad LSU looked in their losses to Kentucky and Arkansas?
I fully expect OSU to obliterate LSU. Last year means nothing. And LSU has two losses. They don't deserve to even be in the National Championship.
I'm not a fan of the BCS setup but....in the two losses that LSU faced, if I recall, both were in overtime, for a total of 5-6 overtime periods.
So if not LSU..then who..???

They were overtime losses, but they still lost...and one of them was to KENTUCKY!
I think Georgia should have been in the Championship game. They were right behind OSU in the polls, and at the time they were placed there everyone knew that they were not going to be in the SEC Championship game. Nothing changed after that game that should have altered Georgia's spot.

I got news for you bro, KENTUCKY could beat ohio state, and i am not joking nor do i have a dog in this fight. Ohio state is a fine football team, and certainly has a great history and tradition etc, But if they ever played in the SEC for a season, i honestly believe they would lose 4 or 5 games a year. I am a penn state fan, married to a tennessee fan, and she has taken me to many games over the years down here in the south, ITS A WHOLE NOTHER LEAGUE DOWN HERE BRO ! Many more black athletes, lotsa speed on both sides of the ball etc....Personally i hope its a great, competitive game, and goes down to the last play, but i will not for a moment be surprised if ohio state gets beat by 3 touch downs ! I could be wrong, but thats how i see it.Good luck !

I live in Kentucky...in Lexington as a matter of fact. Kentucky could not touch Ohio State, and would be lucky to beat more than two teams in the Big 10.

I have been in the Stadium to see at least half of the SEC teams play against Kentucky. I've also sat in the Horseshoe and watched Ohio State. I'll have to disagree with you. I think Ohio State would win the SEC championship 7 years out of 10.
We shall see what happens. Of course, it is football, and anyone could win. But if I were a betting man, I'd put my money on OSU and give 7 points to LSU. If I'm wrong, I will just have to hang my head in shame [&:]
Also in LSU 2 loses were 2 Heisman type performances from Heisman candidates, McFaden was the runner up last year and Woodson at the time of the game was considered in the running for the trophy. If it takes triple overtime to make a team look bad........get some glasses.

I said it before, and I'll say it again...
LSU had a 13 point lead, LATE in the 4th quarter. They blew it.
Lemme ask ya one simple question. Yes or no answer.
If you weren't an LSU honk, but a Georgia honk... Would you still say LSU deserves to be #2, and jumped that many spots of an idle team?

I say yea, the conference winner trumps any other standing.
