Default Works shocks

I want to share a good experience I had with Works Performance on my 07 Streetglide. I ordered a set of their SteelTrackers in 13" height (1" taller than Streetglide shocks, standard height for touring bikes) and after running with them for about 100 miles decided they were too harsh. I called Works and they agreed to rework them based on how I described my complaint. I got them back after the rework and they were a bit better but still too stiff. I called again and since I was local, they suggested I ride over and they would play with my shocks till I was satisfied. Bottom line - I rode to their factory and they spent about 3 hours with me modifying and adjusting the shocks (changing the piston valving, setting preload, etc) until we got it perfect. They actually insisted on spending the time to fine tune everything so they could provide a better shock to touring customers.
I am extremely happy with these shocks now and, while they are not cheap, they are worth every $ compared to the stock Harley air shocks. I have also tried Progressive 440's in the past and these Works shocksperformmuch better.
A stand-up company

Default RE: Works shocks

Ordered a set of Works shocks , and will be putting them on my '07 Standard over the weekend . Quality stuff, and I'll let ya know how they work out after we put some miles on. I had Progressive 440's on my '02 E-Glide Classic and was NOT impressed ........

Default RE: Works shocks

Guys you wont be disappointed at all! I got some steel trackers for my Street Bob a couple months back. And I'm here to say that they are worth the money and the wait. I'm 290lbs. and the factory shocks just wouldn't cut the musturd! These make you feel like you are on a cushion but still have enough to handel the biggest bump in the road and not bottom out like the factory did. So glad to here more people get Works shocks!
