Harley rear tail light auxillarys. Harness part from Harley is less than $50.00. Easy to install and gives added brake lights from the signal lights. Worthwhile part.

Grips are always an easy one. Mirrors can usually be done under $50. For the artistic types, you'll be surprised what can be done in couple of hours with an $8 set of Testors enamels.

You can't do crap for under $50.00. Save up and do something worthwhile. I will agree with the stop light harness...that's probably the best one.

There has been some interesting things done with sign vinyl. Blackening the forks, stripping the air box etc. Not sure how well it will hold up, but does look good initially.

Thats why HD stands for HUNDRED DOLLARS. that's what it cost every time you walk into dealership. But on the Bright side you get free hot dogs on Saturdays. OK back to the original questions. Smoked out turn signal lens, chrome dogs ass, all kinds of little things can be done to dress up the look of you bike.

If you'd quit paying those naked girls to wash your V-Rod it might be cheaper RJ

Metzeler 200 for 2006 and previous, but only when you wear out the stocker and need to replace it anyway. (thus less than $50 mod)

Good point. With my luck I'd end up with one of the non-German Metz and the wreck would cost me a few grand.

Spot it yet?  Cheapest. Mod. Ever.

2 cents worth of electricians tape to cover the VIN plate on the upper frame tube.  It blends into the black frame and it's readily available for DMV or Trooper inspection.

Sidenote:  Why is there a $ but no cents sign on my keyboard?  Y'know, the 'c' with a horizontal line...?

sportster brake caliper inserts for 04 and up in the cam covers (around 45$)

Black vinyl (10.80$ for me) the forks i did but havent taken pics of it yet, if your worried about bubbles in the vinyl and getting around the hard front brake line, wrap the sheets around the forks and tape em in the back with electrical tape, i'll take pics of it when the black bars and levers go on

if you can not do any mods for under 50 bucks maybe you should stop paying someone else to do the work for you... i have done a TON on my bike, cutting stuff down, custom milling parts, made my own derby and points cover,did all my own powdercoating, and pretty much everything was around 50 bucks.. (except my wheels, spokes ran me 200 front, 150 rear) but i powdercoated, laced, and trued them up... there is ALOT you can do for under 50, hell you can interal wire your bars for free and that is a huge dif!

heres a couple things i did .
 \\;\\\\\\;1 Passenger peg relocate . Works with aftermarket pipes only. The steel was free from work and i may have spent $1 on silver paint . The chrome peg mounts were $30.
 \\;\\\\\\;
2 Passenger backrest. Again free tin from work (welded some nuts on for mounting- costing only time)and $35 for the upolstry job.
