Default 2000 SE Roadglide-SE Heavy Breather

I have a 2000 Screaming Eagle Roadglide with the 95ci. motor. I was wanting to install the Screaming Eagle heavy breather air cleaner part # 29592-05 Fits ’99-later Twin Cam models (except models equipped with fairing lowers and ’99-’01 Touring models). I have taken the lowers off. Does this hit the gas tank? Is the only reason this will not work on the 99-01 Touring models? Will this work on my ride?

I have found that 99% of the time the info in the HD catalog or web site as far as fitment is spot on. I know the Heavy Breather will fit 08' touring, and thats the way i am going.

The reason it won't work with the lowers is because it sticks out farther forward than the stock air cleaner. The years of the fitment may have something to do with the type of fuel injection it has. Good luck with your project.
