I rode with a group of 14 other harley owners last week, most of whom I was meeting for the 1st time. All were wearing a HD logo jacket or vest. Looked like we were ready to shoot a Harley commercial! If it wasn't the weekend I would have called my broker and bought Harley stock. By contrast, I don't remember any of my Wing pals sporting Honda duds.
Hats off to Harley....they are MASTERS of marketing and merchandising....2nd to none! Every dealership seems to have as much floor space for apparel and accessories as they do for bikes!
So do you wear Harley goods? Jackets, vests, shirts, etc.? I find their goods are well made and not overpriced compared to comparable quality. My stock portfolio wants to know.
PS: Since I bought the Ultra last month, I bought 2 HD jackets, 3 HD shirts, HD boots, HD gloves. I think I'm OD'ing on this stuff because it wasn't available for my Wing or Beemers.
