I believe harleys are doing what housing did for awhile ..people were selling $75,000
house for $175,000. It was fine for awhile........
but all of a sudden........the CRAP came down.
Now people that paid TOO much for their bikes want the same amount
for them (like the home owners) and they are not getting it.
Like me, I would love to get an electra glide....but I can't sell my Fatboy.
I am glad I like my house (hate to have to sell IT!)

themensh,
I agree with you. I thought I just had to have an Ultra Classic, so I sold my GL1800 on a Friday and bought the Ultra on Monday. Took me all of three days to figure it just wasn't my cup of tea for my riding style. May be an expensive lesson. I've got some wiggle room on the price but not enough to make someone think they stole it! Ha! The Ultra is a great bike but it's just not for me. If I don't sell it..............................I'll just keep riding it.

Talking about the market crapping out. One of my friends bought a used 2007 Ultra ( 2 tone and loaded to the hilt)at a local dealership for 18,500 with only 875 miles on it. You may want to come done alittle bit more.

mgmajor,
The original tire got a cut in it, and was best replaced.
