My 07 Ultra Classic has 6700 miles (and counting).  It is two tone, Pearl Suede Blue and Black.  New rear tire, recently serviced by dealer, and uses HD synthetic oil. Factory security system. Cb radio, intercom Harmon Kardon am/fm cd player, all the Ultra goodies. HD driver backrest, HD fat grips, highway pegs mounted on engine gaurd, Power Commander module installed, Stage One air cleaner, and Mini Beast air horn.  This bike is BEAUTIFUL!   One sweet ride with no disappointments here!

SOLD!  SOLD!  SOLD!

I believe harleys are doing what housing did for awhile ..people were selling $75,000
house for $175,000. It was fine for awhile........
but all of a sudden........the CRAP came down.
Now people that paid TOO much for their bikes want the same amount
for them (like the home owners) and they are not getting it.
Like me, I would love  to get an electra glide....but I can't sell my Fatboy.
I am glad I like my house (hate to have to sell IT!)

themensh,
I agree with you.  I thought I just had to have an Ultra Classic, so I sold my GL1800 on a Friday and bought the Ultra on Monday.  Took me all of three days to figure it just wasn't my cup of tea for my riding style.  May be an expensive lesson.  I've got some wiggle room on the price but not enough to make someone think they stole it!  Ha!  The Ultra is a great bike but it's just not for me.  If I don't sell it..............................I'll just keep riding it.

Talking about the market crapping out. One of my friends bought a used 2007 Ultra (  2 tone and loaded to the hilt) at a local dealership for 18,500 with only 875 miles on it. You may want to come done alittle bit more.

The original tire got a cut in it, and was best replaced.

Sorry your not happy with the bike, good luck selling it, I understand why you have it priced the way you do, but I almost bought a brand new 08 Ultra for $20,000 just a couple of weeks ago at my local dealer, there were also several used Ultras for right around 18-19k including a 07 Screaming Eagle Ultra with 9k miles for $25,000. Given the choice I would buy the new bike from the dealer for $1000.00 more than your asking and have easy financing. Most potential buyers will feel this way. Anyway, good luck your gonna need it.

I took my '07 Ultra to 5 different dealers the other day.  I was trying to trade it for an '08 Ultra.  The best offer I got was $17k, and the worst I got was $13k.  I just laughed and went on.  The 2007's have a bad name, and there will be no good sell prices.  Good luck!

Sorry, I didn't mean to bash your for sale ad, just to provide a little insight form a buyers point of view, you have a nice bike with some nice add ons, and whoever buys it wont have to worry about a break in period. Tax season is upon us and maybe you'll get a refund buyer. Whoever buys this bike is getting alot of bike for the money, and could do way worse.  Good luck!

TexasRedneck imagine us finding each other over here!  How ya doin' George?  I like the Ultra, but in a different way than I do the Wing.  You just can't compare the two even up.  It's not apples to apples.  The Wing just suits my riding style better than the Ultra, but dang! I look good on that Ultra and it looks good under me!  Thanks for the offered help, I appreciate the e-mail.  Spread the word brother!

Well, here's my take on it. The "07 is a better bike than the "06, way better. The 6 speed is a great thing when your cruisin the open road and the 96 inch motor was
about time. It might be a hard one to sell. have seen this same model going for $17,000 to $18,000. The market is bad for bikes in general. You might just have to take your lose and not look back. I have just about every model of Harley they have made in the last 20 years and the Ultra is by far the best if you are going to put some miles under your butt. They do have some problems with handling that can be corrected with some after market parts for a reasonable price. Hang in there for your price, you might just lucky!!!!!!!!!!!! Might be a hard one to sell, not to many people are crazy about the color combo.

UB, hang for awhile, in the spring of 07  I had my 05 EGC advertised and no calls then the weather broke and the calls came in and then the following Sat. I had 3 calls ,buyers with cash in hand, I told all I would not hold the bike the first guy got it, UB don't let the rattler's get you, I buy a new bike every year good times and bad,  34 big bikes , Harleys always sell.       Best of luck.

Thanks for the words of encouragement guys!  I would like to sell it now because I've already found my next bike, but if I don't I'll just ride it till I do.  Spring is coming!  The only problem is I don't know how long the other bike will last.  I'm surprised it's not already gone.  Time will tell.

Ride Safe.

Just seen a black stock 07 Ultra sell on Ebay for a buy it now price of $17700.  With all your options you have $19 is a good deal for someone.  Try Ebay and you could maybe even get more.

Thanks jaystone.  I tried the e-bay thing and didn't do well with it.  Come spring I'll put it out front and it will go.  It just takes one buyer.  If not, I'll just ride it till it does sell.

Ebay seems to be a good source for Ultra sales right now with the right pictures and info.  I sold my Ultra last week in 4 hours at a good price for seller and buyer, just food for thought.

Ultra Bash,

You price is fair, not generous.  Its 2 tone color and went for about 20,650+ when new. The solid colors were I think 20,500.  You've knocked the price down about 1500 to accomadate the 6700miles and its a nice looking machine.

Kelly blue book says this for retail:

and this for trade in:

im not sure about right now, but my bro-in-law sold his VERY nice softail standard on ebay about 2 years ago. granted, he added A LOT of accessories and a little custom paint- but he got more than he paid for the bike AND mods together.

ebay is a strange phenomenon. people will pay over MSRP for USED items!
