Give Nick time , soon all will be shakin in their boots . Saban took over a team that had been down in talent and without ANY decent coaching . Watch his recruiting and see what happens in the next couple years .

Just to be clear, that wasn't a knock on 'Bama. I just can't stand Nick Saban.

Let's see. Bobby coached Cardinals and then Falcons and now Pigs. Does that mean "When pigs fly"?

I think ole Bobby will find life a little different in the SEC than he did in the Big Easy... er I mean East.

Arkansas also has a good QB coming next year, unlike the "forrest gump" we have this year....maybe the new coach will be smarter than Nutt, and have an offense...

my folks live in Fayetteville, and frankly, the whole "hogs"-hype up there makes me sick... "Whoo Pig! Sooie!", give me a break. That being said, here are my thoughts: 1. Fayetteville is a great college town that has a lot of loyal fans. 2. UA is in the SEC, which (whether you agree or not) gets a lot of national hype as being the best overall college conference. 3. Bobby would do 5000 times better if UA could get its head out of its a$$ and play all their home games AT HOME! To my knowledge, they're the only big time program that splits "home" games between two cities located a couple hundred miles apart. How can you have "home" games in Fayetteville and in Little Rock? That just doesn't make sense. Until that's fixed, he's going to have a hard time recruiting UA players.

and Your point is???? the major thing Arkansas needs is Frank Broyles out of the way... the reason for Little Rock Games is money (there's lots of support $ in LR)

Sorry for the delay in responding. I forget about Arkansas a lot. I know it's all about the money. But if the support was that great from little rock, they'd drive the 3-4 hours up the Pig Trail (hence the name) and go back home to their alma mater and watch the friggin' game in Fayetteville. That's part of the joy of college football - it's played right there on your campus! As a Texas Longhorn living in Houston, we have a ton of alumni living here. Could we just demand that the 'Horns move half the home games to Houston? After all, it's only about 2.5 hours away. The idea is just laughable. So is Arkansas' current predicament.

Yo been awhile since you been to Arkansas? there is now interstate (several years)from Alma to Fayetteville takes about 45 minutes to get there now, Old hwy 71N and the Pig Trail hwy 23 are now mostly motorcycle, bicycle and deer routes now. Had a record over 40,000 for the spring game scrimmage last night, kinda think people are excited about the new coach and the offense. Kinda have mixed feelings about the Little Rock games especially with huge increase in stadium seats at Fayetteville, very nice facilities but damn traffic is horrible there now, and not sure War Memorial in LR would survive w/o the Hogs playing there which would be bad especially for the local HS and Jr high that play there, LR has more atmosphere with crowd noise the seats are closer to field and a complete circle around field. Lr only gets 2 games a year now one being LSU.
