A guy that live here in town works for a casket company in Kansas City and they got in a few that had bad paint on them and he was able to get me this one for $150.00 delivered to the door of my shop.  I should be pretty cool when I get it done.

Saw a sidecar made from one of those in Daytona a few years ago at the Iron Horse Saloon. The guy had his quadriplegic friend inside of it on an ambulance litter. The Friend said that when he dies, the casket will be unbolted and he'll be buried in it. Now that's friendship.

How much does it weigh?  That's something to take into consideration.  A buddy of mine did the same thing and once he got it loaded it was too heavy for his ultra.

It weighs about 180 pounds.  Hoping that if i do it right, it will pull nice.  I have built alot of trailers but havent built one for a bike so I guess it will take some head scraching.

Shouldn't be to difficult, a trailer is a trailer the obvious differences aside(weight and width). Other than that it's cake.

Good Luck

A couple shovels, flashlight batteries, a 12 pack, and one night's worth of digging.

Well I dont have the casket anymore.  A friend of mine passed away and he didnt have any insurance and they dont have much.  So I donated the casket for him.  Even with the plot paid for and me donating the casket it still cost about $5000.00 to get my buddie buried.  Something is wrong when it takes that much to dig a hole and lay ya to rest.  Ill find another casket, I still want to build a trailer but he is getting more out of it now than I am.
