I have been visiting our wounded soldiers at Walter Reed for almost two years now. I usually ride when the weather permits and I wear my colors when I do.Talking to the guys I would notice they were checking out my vest with my unit patches,
American flag, etc. One young man asked me last year if he could get a vest. I told him I would see what I could do and last Christmas my club, U.S. Military Vets and myself presented him with a vest. Since then I have had many requests and have had a hard time keeping up with them. It is definitly a labor of love. Having served during the Vietnam War I wasn't going to desert these young men like so many did during Vietnam. Hereis asample of one of the vests just completed. I was thinking about putting a few on my webshots.com site if anyone may be interested or you can go to: www.myspace.com/atrox88 (http://www.myspace.com/atrox88)and scroll down the left column to see a few. Thank you to those who have donated patches to this cause.

Nice job attrox......I can appreciate how you feel......we are not going to forget these guys.

Tomorrow I will be with a bunch of bikers from Houston area riding to Brooke Army Medical Center San Antonio to spend some time with some of our wounded heros and their families there.

Let's not forget that while everyday we hear on the news about the KIA there are many wounded we do not hear about thatneed our assiatance......and prayers.

It was my pleasure to help you out. After all, you helped me with my patch for Travis, it's only fair that I help you help others. Keep up the good work.

I appreciate the offer drbill. I originally started out carrying the expense of the vests myself. Once other soldiers saw the vests
and started requesting them I had to get help. My club, the U.S. Military Vets Motorcycle Club of Western Marylandwww.usmvwmd.org/ (http://www.usmvwmd.org/) then started a fund and help me out and help started coming in.

Make check or money order out to:

U.S.M.V. MC
