Just got off the phone with Ironhorse, it must be my lucky day. They said they just had a cancellation and a room was available. I will be checking in on June 12th and checking out on June 15th.  I did a mapquest and it looks like it is about 520 miles one way. I will be hitting the road early on the 12th.  Looking forward to meeting everyone.

Yes I did, break out your American Flags because June 14th is also Flag Day.

June cannot get here soon enough.

My wife, Patti, and I share the same birthday.  June 12th.  We'll have several birthdays to celebrate!

(not that we'll need ANY reason to celebrate....hee hee heeeeeeee)

We'll be enroute to the Iron Horse, probably in Macon GA on the 12th.

Chris,

I was thinking about heading down Rt 29 until I hit I-40 but I haven't really made up my mind or done a through map reconnaissance yet. What did you have in mind?

Ok, the Pig is finally checking back in.  My "riding season" (whatever that means) plans are comming together a bit more now.  I decided to scrap the TN State HOG rally over in Maryville that is on June 4 - 6.  And make this party.  Hopefully, I can get a room at "The Pig Palace", but regardless, I'll see ya'll in June!!

Cool!  Randy, I believe the Iron Horse Lodge is completely booked up that weekend unless you plan on tenting it. Could always check about a cancellation. If you need accomodations, the Kickstand Lodge next door may still have cabins or bunk beds for rent.  Just FYI

Sounds like we're going to have a pretty stellar turn out.

Oh, I'm sorry, I should have explained.  The "Pig Palace" is the home of one of my PGR brothers over in Maryville, TN.  No worries, I'll find some mud puddle to waller around in.  LOL.

That's right, I remember now.  That's great that you're going to make it.

I understand that Gatorwalt and his compadres are also planning on joining us.

Hey Chris.  Sorry to hear the wrist is bothering you.  I'm sure that Dean (Aces & Eights) can sympathize.  Really hoping you are both well healed by the time June rolls around.

Hey gang!  Is it June yet?

BTW:  I've got one of my HH T-Shirts on a hanger that I can read everyday when I open my closet door.  Love the shirts!

Patti and I will call the IronHorse, I think we're going to try to come a day earlier!!!!  Shouldn't (hopefully) be a big deal to check-in on Thursday instead of Friday.  I already know that "just" a weekend won't do it.

You know that creed was derived from the drunken sloth of an old fat man?

LOL

C and I will be working on our carriage house as soon as my son moves out. It has a full bed, den, bath and kitchen with deck. If it's done in time then you and Patti are more than welcome to stay there and head up to the Dragon Thursday mid morning with C and I.

You're in North Atlanta area right?  My trip will have to be in hops.  The first leg I was thinking Macon, then the rest of the way up from there the next day.  I don't mind re-thinking ANY part of this trip, or extending the days to do it!

So maybe if we leave Florida on Tuesday......pull into Atlanta area on Wed afternoon.....uhm.....

We may be onto something.....

What is drunken sloth's preference?  (Jack, Patron,......)?

Keep your options open. C and I have plans of redoing the carriage house. It's a neat place. Hope to use it as a guest house.

Should have the pool open before June and of course the hot tub is always fired up and the beer cold.

Bump.  Is it June yet?  I may get to ride down to Savannah in May, but this is the one I am really looking forward to.

Well if I do that, I'll loose my deposit at the Kickstand Lodge. I'll just have to ride over there and than crawl back to Kickstand.
