Chris, have you been back to the doc about that wrist pain?  If not, have that checked.

Stable hand?  Why sure.  Come on down sometime.  Johnny is boarding his horse at my place and I'm sure we could put you to work as there is always something that needs to be done on the farm.

4 weeks and 3 &1/2 days 'til we roll out! Where are the Hellions that leave Thursday meeting? I guess I could read back and figure it out, but it's easier to just postwh0re some more. It'd be cool if Paul and his better half could hook up with us for the ride up.

Damn, I've got some work to do on the Deuce between now and then. Gotta get a tire, rear bearings, and install some of the purty stuff I bought for it. Also gotta get everything together for it.

Johhny, is Mary still gonna cage up? I won't have as much gear to haul if I'm not tent camping, but I will have plenty of beer and some Jack Daniels, among a few other things. Who's bringing cookies?

Chris, hope you make it, especially since you are part of my roof over my head plans now. LOL.

Ben, those of us departing Thursday are meeting up at Dixie Tavern prolly around 3p.  Yes, Paul might be able to time his passing through Atlanta to hook-up with us or Dave depending.  Paul, would love to have you and the Mrs. along in our caravan.

My plans (for now) will be to get to Macon GA by late afternoon on Wednesday (June 11th).  I would be VERY GLAD/HAPPY/INSPIRED if we can catch up to the HH Thursday bunch somewhere around Atlanta without interferring with anyone's planned departure time.

From Macon, it looks like I'd be within easy reach to a spot in the metro Atlanta area if we get a nice early start.  Just need your planned meeting point & time.

BTW, if I have enough daylight and I'm not too tired, we will push further north on Wednesday.  There's nothing special about my planned stop in Macon.  Just a basic calculation in attempt to getting half-way up there on the first travel day.

I can't wait!!!!!

Paul, Dixie Tavern is off of Windy Hill Rd. which is the first exit North of the Perimeter (I-285) on I-75 North.  You would exit at Windy Hill; turn left at the light at the end of the ramp and it's about a mile up on your right in a shopping center behind a Chevron station.  If you get to Cobb Parkway/Hwy. 41, you've gone too far, but it's just before you get to that intersection on the right.  We can touch base more about this closer to the date.

Who is departing the ATL area on Friday? K & I are leaving then and would like to meet up with those going up then. Thought I was going to have to attend a class in Brunswick and drive back that morning but the class was cancelled.

Let us know so we can arrange meeting location(s) and times.

Most excellent..... I'll get it figured out now.  I see from a satellite view (using Google Maps) a shopping center that sits back a bit from Windy Hill Rd.  I probably see the gas station that sits closer to the road, in front of the shopping center.  I see the Tavern a little further down on the same side, just before the intersection (Cobb Pkwy).

I'll be watching for you guys to set a meeting time for Thursday.  I'll adjust accordingly from wherever I stop Wed evening to make that time too!

I think that is right.  I will probably have to find some place that has high speed internet either Friday afternoon/night or sometime Saturday so i can do about an hour of work.

I can leave as early on Friday as needed.  Just let me know.

LOL!  It's the riding that feels like flying Babe, and not the sailing off, ass over tea kettle.    In a nutshell, you have to manage to stay on in order to get the full effect.

Well everyone.  I am out for this trip.  I didn't think about until just now, but that is Father's Day weekend.  I don't want to be away from my little ones that weekend.

Hey Chris, I understand.  I will miss seeing you at the Dragon, but will look forward to Ocala with fingers crossed that we can ride together again.

You all have FUN at Dave's!  Sometime Sunday I'll raise a beer down here in Florida, wishing all a good time!

Totally understand about "DaDa day"..  been there done that.   Now that mine are grown they say "get the heck out of town...  Please! "

Look forward to seeing you this Sunday so we can rag you about it.

C and I are planing to leave from here around 12ish on Thursday morning with trailer in tow. Those of you that have stuff for us to haul for you need to make a plan to get U'r stuff here.

Paul, I think I still have our list somewhere around here but now my question is.. since no one is tenting will that change the list any such as the kitchen gear?

Not sure when the guys are meeting at the DT on Thursday (did i read 3 PM ?) but you are more than welcome to hang with me up there since I am leaving earlier. Macon is really only a few hours from Atlanta and that sounds like a lot of wait time on your part....  so, it's just a suggestion.

Our time frame is all screwy on the guest house remodeling and not sure if we can finish it in time or you guys could easily stay here Wed evening. Still working on that.

Hey Dave,

Yea, maybe I'll switch-up plans and follow you to the Dragon.  No need, like you say, to kill time for a late-afternoon departure.  Heck, I'd rather use any extra time at the Ironhorse for DRINKING.  Hee heee hee.  I guess folks are trying to work a half-day?  Silly me, I was thinking a 9am-10am departure was in the mix.

No pressure for the guest house.  I am quite certain we will have future opprotunities to get together in your neck of the woods.  Since we can't predict the weather, I can't easily predict how far I can travel.  I will find a hotel easy enough as close as possible to Atlanta on Wednesday afternoon/early evening.

The non-tenting probably does change a few things, but we'll pack some of those white stacking chairs for around the firepit, won't change the Beer requirement, and we'll bring a healthy share of munchies/snacks.  The Ironhorse has breakfast & Dinner kind of covered for us, unless folks are really excited to try to do the grilling thing.  I'm easy and will contribute towards whatever the majority wants to do.  Maybe you guys can discuss on Sunday.

I have your cell # Dave, and I think you have mine, so I will be double-checking everything with you and committing to travel plans as we get closer to the date.

Glad to hear you had such a good time Walt.  We can't wait to get there ourselves.

Paul, by all means, if you get to Atlanta early enough to trek on up to Deal's Gap with Dave and C, please don't wait around for our group leaving later in the day.  Y'all go on up and get yourselves settled and have a cold one or three for us.  Yes, some of us have to work part of the day, hence the afternoon departure.
