Well I'm going to quit trying to play road captain on a GA/FL rally cause that went no where!! But if you guys need a tail gunner, I'll follow. The June dates work good for me.

Well with a heavy heart I am going to have to decline this meet and greetI forgot I am going to be in Nashville the week June 5th for the Country Music Fest.(The O/L reminded me) But I will be in the area for 10 days and will be heading over to Knoxville to visit family which is only a stones throw away from the Mountains and would love to meet up with some of the Ga/Tn folk to show me around and ride with. I am bringing the Bike while the O/L drives the ford with the the youngens!!!!!!!! I would love to meet Johnnyx who I think is a lot like me. A funny but no B/S kind of guy. Gagirl and her o/m seem like good people I could hang with.  We have Johntn in south Tennessee I would like to ride with as well. And some I cant think of off the top of my head. I Hope to meet up with all or some while I am up that way.Yall seem Like good people and that goes a long way in my book.Sorry I cany Make it and hope to meet yall while I am up there if not maybe when and if you come to the flat lands to visit. Take Care and Ride Safe.

Very sorry to hear that some of you that want to make the trip are going to be unable.  Would love to meet you then, but surely we'll be able to get together on another ride.  Definitely not adverse to heading South in cooler weather.  Thank you Darrell for the kind words.  You'll be missed.  Yes, Johnny is a trip!  Kimbo, glad to have you.  Murph I'm terribly disappointed. .  Trip, glad you and Mrs. are going to make it.  Jeff, thank you so much for the offer of assistance should we need it.  Best of luck to your daughter at the national dance competition.

Joe, to answer your question, KSL does not give refunds, at all.

She called me today also Trip. We were in Hixson with family.

Said she had us penciled in and will call to confirm tomorrow.

May get up there Thursday and leave Sunday.

Here's for hoping we have good weather and it's not too crowded.

C U there.

Nice ride Jeff!

Reksul, Charlene called me today too to confirm the reservation.  I'll catch up with her on Wednesday to firm things up.  Looks like we are a go with good turnout.  Sure, it may be a little crowded, but the weather should be fabulous and you just can't beat the company we will be in.

Glad I went ahead and emailed them last night.  She said they were getting booked up for that weekend when I spoke with her.  I am ready to go tomorrow.  We will probably leave Fri around 11 a.m.

I would like to say I can make it but it is too far away to say for sure. Sounds like a great time and a nice ride. Hopefully I will be there.

Got my call from the Ironhorse yesterday, and a confirmation email today.  Patti and I are "booked"!!

2008 is going to be an awesome year.  Looking forward to Daytona Bikeweek, Leesburg, and now, North Carolina!  There's even a possibility that a Myrtle Beach weekend may happen in there somewhere, so I'm stoked!

Merry Christmas everyone!

I hope Brian, David and Robert can make the trip. With this much advanced notice hopefully they can.
Let us know D-Head if you all can make it.

Dino

Hey Dino,

Yep, I should be able to make it. I usually make a trip to NC in the summer. I'll be staying in Waynesville, NC with my folks, about 60 miles away.

Just sent them an email.  I think I am going to pack my own tent and gear.  Not really for the cost, but I having never done it, I want to see how all of that crap will fit and ride on the bike.  This will be a good learning experience.

Gosh darn, that means its gonna rain now.  First-time campers always get rained on.  Hee hee.

(Or is this just the first time camping with the bike?  Ha ha).

Looking forward to seeing you Chris!  (if not sooner down this way again).

haha - yeah . . I know I know . . . I'm disappointed I can't join you, but thrilled for this couple.  They were really the first people to befriend me when I moved to GA (haha - speaks to their lack of judgement!  ).  I wouldn't miss their big day for anything!

LOL.  Just the first time with the bike.  I have spent a lot of time sleeping under the stars (under ponchos, in a hole, in the mud).  I am pretty excited about this trip.

Hey everyone!  Yeah I am still in frickin Southern California working.  Been over a month here and I am ready to come home.

As fate would have it, I will not be able to make the trip.  Gotta go teach a two week seminar in Illinois at that time.  Really sorry I am going to miss you guys AGAIN...

Hope to see you all sometime in March...  I will be lurking around the forums...

Looks like IronHorse is calling around again today.

Carol and I are booked. Will be arriving Thursday and leaving Sunday.

They also say that there's a bunch waiting on confirmations and some that haven't called her back. Sounded like they are filling up fast. Better call them if you need a cabin.

Hopefullly we can meet up for a ride soon since you are just down the road.  I wanted to go today but my wife is on bed rest for a few days and so I have to look after her and our little one.  They are definately first on my list.  Maybe in a couple weeks we can meet up.

I called and left them my credit card info for the cabin Dean, me, Johnny, Mary, John and Terri are renting for 6/12, 13 and 14.  Thanks for posting the number Dave.  BTW, got those new pipes on and they sound schweet!  Thanks for the offer of assistance, but they weren't that hard to do with Dean walking me through it.  I posted a video clip in the January ride thread with sound.  Check it out.

I just called and left my callback info.  Hope I didn't wait too long to get a cabin..... If I did I guess I'll be tent camping..... Either way I'm planning on being there.
