Hi All, I just ordered the new bolt on Defender from Roadlok. It should be here in a week. Will let members know how this product works and ease of installation. Received the product on the 7th. The product is very well made and looks great (I had the black finish); compared to other "bling" products made overseas! Abloy lock and brakebolt appear to be very strong with a smooth, precise machined finish . Good positive "Click" to engage bolt into locking position. Since my bike's in the shop, I didn't have a chance to put it on yet. Will update on actual DIY install and attach pics when done. 1/12, finally put the unit on! I'm a novice wrench and this was easy! Had to bend the brake hose a little to allow the unit to bolt on, but other than that... I highly recommend this USA made bolt lock, worth the investment! Chief, Answer me this...I just came from your website to check this thing out. The videos that you posted...the guy inserts the key with the yellow tag into the Defender, pushes the bike forward a bit to lock it and then stands up and says "that's it"...does the key with the yellow tag stay "in" the Defender? How does it come it out? Is there another key? Suggestion...make a new video that shows how to lock it AND unlock it. Unless I'm missing something, it wasn't too clear to me. But, I am very interested in the product. T

Thanks for your comments and interest in our products. The "guy" in the video is yours truly. That was actually filmed at Daytona Bike Week. The Brakebolt w/ the yellow lanyard is carried while riding and then inserted into the RoadLoK to secure the bike. That stays there while the bike is secured. To remove the Brakebolt, the rider uses one of his two supplied keys to unlock the brakebolt. The yellow lanyard that is on the brakebolt is there more as an advertisement and not really needed as a reminder to remove because you simply cannot damage the bike if you forget to unlock it. The front wheel cannot move, period. As far as fitment with aftermarket rotors - we have only found a couple that this has been an issue. Typically, if the aftermarket rotor is the same size as the OEM rotor and is drilled, the RoadLoK will work. Thanks again for the interest and I apologize for the delayed response. Chief X

Chief...got my Defender today and it was a pretty simple install....took about 5-10 minutes. And the answer to the magic question...Does the Defender work with Performance Machine rotors????? Yes, they do. No problem at all!! Here's a couple of pics for ya, Chief. Thanks again....great product.
