Check out the Corbin Hollywood Solo ... I have tryed alot of seats and the Mustang Vintage Solo and the Corbin Hollywood Solo are excellent... Both are all day riders.. After my first Corbin I've had one on every bike...
What Trotter said. I had a Corbiin Hollywood Solo on my Ironhead. I could never understand how I could ride all day on that thing and be comfortable because it was so thin. It was a great seat!
I just got a corbin hollywood solo off ebay. I have not been able to really test it out live in the midwest snow etc. But I did research seats. If I had not been able to snag one for under the price of a C&C seat I would have gone with C&C. Just my .02.

I'm quite surprised that I find the stock seat on my Bob fairly comfortable. I figured I was gonna have to change it out since the seat I had on the Sportser before sucked more ass than Rosie Odonnel.

Great advice Skip, only couldn't afford the Corbin at the time and went with the Mustang Vintage Solo for about 1/2 the price - love it but it did raise me up almost an inch on the bobstah, which I don't particularly care for.
Looking for a solo for my 'new' '02 Sportster now that'll move me down and back, and considering the Hollywood solo if I can get a deal, if not what about the Danny Gray solo - anyone have any experience with these?
