Will Muschamp, formerly the defensive coordinator for LSU, the Miami Dolphins (with Satan) and Auburn, is going to the Texas Longhorns.  Major Applewhite, the former offensive coordinator for Alabama (with Satan), is going to Texas, also.
I guess Satan taught them well.

I haven't heard any names yet.  I would guess that we could hire whoever we wanted.

Now the Pitt defensive coordinator is going to Auburn and the Kansas defensive coordinator is going to Miami.

Great list.  Better than piecemeal.

Applewhite went back to his alma mater, what's so surprising about that?  As the greatest coach to ever walk a CFB sideline once said "Mama called."

In a related story, Mack Brown has stated that Chris Simms will replace MA half-way through the season.

I am now hearing that they will promote from within the present cadre of assistants.  I don't know much about them yet but, will probably find out in a few weeks.

I don't remember Charlie Mac ever saying that.

Sorry, I meant to quote your initial post.  It mentioned Applewhite leaving Bama for Texas.  That is where the reference to Mack Brown replacing Applewhite with Chris Simms should have been.

As the best coach walking the sidelines today would say "Aight."
