I have a 08 FLHRCI. I replaced the seat with a Sundowner due to the uncomfortableness of the stock seat.

Unfortunately, living in the NE, I have not been able to put any miles on it since replacing in November.

My question is, even with the new seat, I feel that there is more support and should be more comfortable, however, I beleive with the new support, and the firmness of the seat, I am uncomfortable due to now being on my toes to stablize the bike.

What modification would you recommend for this seat. I am 5'9" with a 31-32" inseam. I would like to sit flat footed on the bike and have a softer seat for comfort.

Based on the mods you would recommend, I am thinking that I would be looking at the memory foam modificaton and based on how I feel on the seat, would like to be lowered maybe 1 to 1-1/2" inches. However I would leave this to your expertise.

What would I be looking at for total cost and shipping back to zip 14469.

I would go with the memory foam minimum. I could lower you 1 1/2"s without a problem and I would narrow the seat also where your leg are to help get you better flat gooted also.

Shipping should be in the $15-18 range as long as the box isn't too big, if you still have the original box that would be a big plus but anything larger will drive the cost of the shipping up pretty good.
