Default Any single shot handgun shooters

I have a Super 14 with 22, 223, and 35 Rem barrels. Someday I might add more barrels to my collection. I like shooting the 22 and the 223. They are both very accurate rounds in my Super 14.

i've got 5 single shot pistols. But 3 0f 'em use caps for ignition and the other 2 use flints.
Most likely not what you had in mind.

I have been shooting the Thompson Center Contender for over 10 years now. They are great guns for both hunting and target shooting. Becareful though, buying barrels can be addictive.

.17 hmr
.22 LR
.357 Maximum
.44 Magum
.35 Remington
.444 Marlin

Then of course there are the carbine calibers.

Besides all the over the counter barrels, there are several that can be had from SSK Industries.

Very true Springer. SSK has been in the business of custom barrels for a lot of years now. They have a pretty good record for quality. Although I don't have barrels from SSK. I do have barrels from Match Grade Machines (MGM), Bullberry and Mike Bellm.

Since I am limited as to what cartridge I can use to hunt deer here in Ohio. I use the .44 magnum in a scoped 12' barrel. This one is straight from T/C, not a custom barrel. Still a straight shooter and has taken a lot of deer over the years. I'm glad to see there are a few T/C shooters here on the board.

I haven't shot a 44 mag for years, what is your favorite load for hunting? Since I don't live in Ohio, what kind of restrictions are you talking about?

thanks
