After seeing the Street Bob thread go on forever, I thought I'd do a poll to find out what the people on this board ride. I don't think this has been done lately, but even if it has, there are always new people around.

Well it was a super glide pewter pearl. Now it's black with street bob tank and fenders. Kinda a Mutt. Thinkin powder coating some stuff not sure which direction to go with the big gray engine. Chrome or powder coating? Smiley

Does Harley still make anything else?

I try riding my wife when I can, but the Super Glide only takes ONE push of the button to go.

Tried a couple of Kings but found out they're not really "bigger" just...umm... "heavier". Same wheelbase as an FXD; like the ride and handling on my FXDXT best. More versatile.....

i bought my Super Glide in 05 but if I'd known that the Bob was coming in 06 i probably would've waited (i really like the denim paint). after my winter mods get done it'll kinda look like a Bob anyway... maybe a Bob wannabe but with QR rear seat,bags and shield fortouring.

Low Rider/ Road King wanabe. aka hard bags, windshield, and engine guard. Enough handling to drag the pegs on the Dragon and enough dry storage to make the trip there.

Put mini apes on 1 inch risers and solo seat from harley seats .com
also relocated rear signals and added bags to detachable side plates (custom brackets)with backrest
long live the Dyna family.

WideGlide. Love em all, but the WG is my favorite.

My Super Glide is the first Harley I've had since 1985. Before that, it was Sportsters for the sleek look. When I first saw the Dyna Super Glide, I felt that I had found the Sporsters big brother.

Dang, I'd say the Street Bob has been a huge success if this board is any indication, especially when you consider that it has only been available for a couple of years. Nearly double the second place Super Glide right now (which has been around forever). I guess it shouldn't surprise any of us to see H-D focusing on the Dark Custom segment.

I wanted something I could do with as I wish, not someone elses idea of what I should ride

I haven't been to the cocktail party in some time, but my sonusually goes.My son-in-law has season tckets,and Iusually only go to a game or two a year forthe atmosphere, but I really like watching from home. I love college football so much that I don't like to miss being at Dawg Command Central with my big screen (multiscreen) and DVR so I can keep up with all the games during the day (and late into the night for west coast games). You might say I'm a junkie.:DOf course, I know some hard core tailgaters that have a similar setup with satelite TV at the games!I have to get my riding in early on Saturdays in the fall.;)

I am planning to come to Amelia Island a couple of times in the next two months or so...talked to mybuddy down there yesterday (he lives in Yulee).
