Actually Karen, This event will be easier for us to attend as opposed to Myrtle Beach from my schedule stand point. Glad you posted it.
I will let Kaye know about it and will most likely attend this event instead. It is closer and by far, less expensive. Not real sure I could pull off two months in a row of bike road trips. If others are intersted, I hope we can get a large group of the "H-Hellions" to go. Could be the preliminary event for the June Dragon trip.

Sounds good and having the CDB playing at it should be a blast. I've never seen them, but Todd has and says they put on quite the show. Let's plan on it. Okay Hellions, you're on notice to gather and attend!

I spoke with John TN tonight and the rally is trying to get two hotels signed on to give special rates to those attending this event: The Smokehouse Campground and Motel and also the American Eagle Motel in Monte Eagle. He also said he is trying to organize a charity ride for that Friday before the rally officially starts. So those of us planning to make this trip and can take the time off, might want to travel up on Thursday afternoon, and stay the three days for the ride and rally and plan to return on Monday. Sounds like it will be a very good time.

They had 2 (2-bedroom) cottage's left, when I booked our room.

Dave, we decided to give the Best Western Smokehouse Lodge a try. A little cheaper as we don't think we need a cottage or cabin. Still need to get tickets too. Plan to work on both of those tomorrow.

Wound up booking with Bear Hollow as well. Good call Dave. We got the Grizzly one bedroom cottage, but it does have a bed in the loft so we can put someone else up there if there is need. Can't wait. Yeah, now we need to buy our tickets. Will do that next.

Since Monteagle isn't so far and if my doc gives me the go-ahead, Kaye and I may try to make this event. May have difficulties getting accomodation this late but will just have to wait and see what the ole doc has to say first. Would hate to lose deposits and such. We still have it on our schedule so we'll see.
