Default Cherokee Foothills Nat'l. Scenic Highway

Just curious about how nice this highway is? We read that it runs through peach orchards and past quite a few of South Carolina's state parks.

It's not a challenging road, it's a nice, relaxing ride through the country. I haven't been all the way to the southern end but it does go right by the entrance to the Cowpens battlefield. Be sure to take time to take the tour. The road surface itself is in very good shape.

A very nice ride! I have been across the Foothills Parkway numerous times with my wife and always enjoy the ride.[sm=biker2.gif]

A nice ride. Also, a good hiking trail at Caesar's Head State Park. See http://www.sctrails.net/Trails/ALLTR...avencliff.html
