i'm looking into buying a three year extend warranty i need to know if any one has the extended warranty form zurich (universal underwritters service )pro & cons. any info would be helpful and appreciatedin the pasti had harleysextenedwarranty with the 50.00 deductible
I bought it when I bought my used bike, and I was told by my dealer that it is good at every dealer,and I got the 0 deductable, if you brake down ,and it is covered they pay food ,tow,and hotel if need be while it is being fixed.
It does not cover "Normal Wear Items" belts,brake pads,ect...
I bought it and basically it sux. I have 16K on my 07, I bougth new. Been in to HD for 1K,5K, and 10K checkups...Expensive...But I did it.
I was told the same you mentioned....so I bought teh extended warranty.
Then last week Transmission when out left me on the side of the road. I called the extended warranty plan provedere from my cell. They asked why I was calling, They said "do they expectus to send out a tow? Yes I did...No they do not do that.
Do they reimburse me for 110 Tow. No they did not.
Did they pay for the clutch, NO they did not. They said Clutch is not included as it is considered Normal wear and tear.
So 16K is normal wear out for clutch? I think not. Needless to say I am pissed off at Brandon HD right now.
