Ok, I'm in.  I just paid for my Pewter Denim Fat Bob however I still have about two months to go before my wife and I get out of Afghanistan.  It should be waiting in Dallas for me when we get off the plane.  I had all but given up on buying a Harley until I saw the fat bob on the cover of a magazine a few months ago.  Man, I saw it out of the corner of my eye in a stack of other magazines and it just jumped right out at me.  I was hooked from that moment forward.  The one that I ordered comes with forward controls but my gut is telling me to get mid to start with *shrugs*.

The First solo seat, fender rack, taillight mod, black air cleaner/ iron cross ,is ready for duty. Now that we have started this thread who else was the first to do a mod to their fatbob? I know I have gotten great ideas from fellow fatbob riders.

I removed my passanger pegs & brackets, fabbed a custom bracket for the belt guard.
Can you post links/info and pics of your solo & fender rack?

Hi boys & girls, had to have a new back light fitted to my 3 month old fatbob just because i ride in the rain. The light fitting was full of road dirt and water and shorted it out so stop and tail lights were both on at same time. I'm also having the fork sliders replaced because the paint is coming of, do i have a 'friday bike' or is this normal on Harleys.
My wife and i are coming over to the US a week today to tour on harleys from San Francisco we intend to take in the Laughlin river run on uor way from LA to Vegas may see some of you there.

Just took delivery of my FB. I went in to order in denim black and the dealer had one with the apocolypse custum paint job. Black with ornage flames with skulls ghost painted in to flames, so I got that instead. Pics to follow.

Just got mine today... Vivid Black... The dealer had it all last week after I signed the paprs trying to put Big Radius 2 into 1's and a SERT. They apparently had 2 bad tuners and was waiting for new parts to come in. I told them I had to take the bike, I couldn't wait any longer, just let me know when the parts get there and we see from there if I can part with it for a couple days...

Congratulations to all the new Fat Bob Squadron members!  We are growing fast and furious!  I think this bike is going to be one of Harley's best sellers.  (Just my humble and unbiased opinion! LOL)

Welcome!!!!!!!

Fat Bob will be a big seller and has already showed some strong figures. Its sold out in harley europe. My buddy wanted one after a ride with mine, no where could he get one. In scandinavia, he can just forget it. Don't know about southern europe but up north here Fat bob rules. pre orders are still strong for autum.

Checking in from Massachusetts. Picked up my Fat Bob yesterday from Manchester Harley in Manchester, NH.
Candy Red Sunglo, SERT, Stage 1 A/C, Rush 1.75".

The bike rides well. This is my first Harley and I'm glad I chose the Fat Bob. The pipes sound great too. Louder than I expected. Rush has a great product.

I don't think we'll ever know the actual sales numbers for the FXDF.

H-D doesn't break out sales figures by model, only by category.

And the categories are:

- Touring
- Custom (Dyna, Softail and VRSC are all lumped in here)
- Sportster
- Buell

Oh well.

I just got my fatty and love it. (Bike, not wife) Weather sucks so I only have 50 miles on it. I bought the vived blk. Paid 15,140.00 .Other dealers were adding up to two grand. I'm from Parker Colorado. Also sign me up for thr fatty squad. As soon as the t-shirts are ready, I want a couple.

Ride safe...

Went from an 883 sporty to a brand new FAT BOB and loving it.  Just need to find time to work around the house but the riding comes first.  Other problem is what bike to ride since I still own my sporty for some reason i just can get rid of it (YET).
