I havea S&W model 19 that I take out once in awhile and also a 6" Python. I used to have a S&W model 13 but I sold it several years ago, sure wish that I hadn't done that, it would have made a good one for carrying while I ride. I usually shoot 158 JSP or 125 JHP or sometimes I just shoot 38's through them. Anybody else?

I used to carry a model 66 (Stainless) S&W before I went to a Colt and then a Glock. The 66 was a great gun and was easy to shoot. Just got tired of the wheel gun and wanted to be able to carry more rounds.

Yuy, same as Terry.....got turned onto the Glock & traded off the 66. Still wish I had it though, was fun to shoot the .38 loads into old turtle shells.
I've got a Colt King Cobra polished stainless with a 6" barrel and a Ruger SP101 with a 2 1/4" barrel. I mostly shoot handloaded 125 gr JHP's over Blue Dot.

I've got one these too, 19-5, 6" barrel nickel plated, it's over 25 years old and I can't count the number of rounds thats been through it, the action's been honed and the spring re-arched for about a 2 lb trigger pull. the K frame is a sweet revolver, pretty toughand durable. I usually shoot handloaded 141 gr. SWC for cans and targets.
S&W 686 stainless steel 6" barrel. And I reload with 158 grain SWC's. Houge grips to help tame it some. Made up shot loads and some buckshot loads, thinking that I was going to be sent south to help rebuild the coast after Katrina went thru. Didn't get picked for the mission. Jobs went by seniority, 36 years wasn't enough. 16 hour days, 13 days straight before 1 day off. Could have made a lot of money. Oh well...........
Own a .357 Magnum? Do Bears sh it in the woods? In my humble opinion the .357 is the one pistola that I favor over anything else, as that bitch won't jam (revolver of course) and actual studies show it has the best 1 shot stopping power of all the Handgun calibers. Not too little and not too much, just right to stop a man dead in his tracks!
Had a Ruger Police Service Six for the last 20 years, and just upgraded to a beatiful S&W, 7-shot, Limited Production Model 686, limited production b/c it has a 5 inch barrel and a smooth flute on the clyinder. Stainless of course with black grips from the factory.
That baby sits under my matress loaded of course (no young kids around) and my home office is where I sit right now is conveniently secured with my 12 Gauge Remington 870, tactical Magnum Shotgun, with 6 rounds of 00 BuckShot just waiting to be pressed into action. If they get by the Judge (My German Shepard who hates stangers) then they have to deal with the executioner! LOL
LONG LIVE the .357 Magnun, slowly dying in popularity to the high capacity automatics, but never will be DEAD in this Country and will always have afavorite spot in many of our hearts!
