Purolator oil filters

For those of you who use them, Amazon.com has a deal going for lots of them. Two packs for $7.

I don't know which ones HDs use, but those that like them might check it out.

The PureOne filters have an excellent reputation, and it's a great price. Wish they came in black or chrome though.

Yes, but do they have5 micron filtration? Most automotive fliters that will fit on your HD won't have the desired filtration level.

They may be made by purolator for HD but the chances are the media inside, filtration level and bypass pressure level will be different form the automotive ones. HD is very specific in the 5 micron spec to get all the large particulate crap out of your oil as well as lower bypass pressure and ADBV to prevent cold start oil starvation. The Purolator website shows the Premium Plus has a 10-20 micron filtration level. There is no data for the Pure One filter but I doubt it's below 10 micron. The Purolator part number for the TC88 is M16822. Which is not sold on Amazon.
