Brady will need therpy to recover from this defeat!  And maybe his cheating (Spygate) no class coach could sign up as well,  improve his people and social skills.

Despite their 18-1 record, the '07 Patriots will only be remembered for Spy Gate and blowing the Super Bowl.

It's comical to think some believe the Patriots are better than the '85 Bears. The Pats couldn't handle the Giants defense!

All records will eventually be tied or broken, I just hope the team to do it has some class and shows some measure of sportsmanship.

BULL!!!! The injury report do not list him other that his shoulder and that has been on there since week 1. If his ankle was hurt that did not list it, but now that they got the butts kicked they say is was hurt. They got beat .....deal with it stop crying.

Brady was not 100%. If you had followed all Pats games you would know that. His passing had never been as far off as in that game. Yes he did get sacked more than he had all year and I will agree that the Giants defense was the best they had seen all year. But anyone that has watched all Pats game knows Brady was not healthy. Not crying just stating fact.

Before you start making excuses for the loss on some alledged Brady injury, maybe you should look at the injury report for the Giants. Thier defensive backfield was so banged up that pre-playoff predicions were that Romo, Favre, Manning, Brady, or whomever would light them up. Then look at the Giant receivers...Shockley out for the year, Burris can't practice, one is a rookie, and the other is just off double knee surgeries.

Perhaps if your all-knowing coach would have played your second string QB some this year instead of using Brady to run the score up on so many opponents, he might have been in the position to help if Brady was indeed hurt. Seven attempts all year is a ridiculus number when you were blowing out so many teams. Brady didn't perform under pressure is all there is to it, showed he's just an average QB unless he can stand in the pocket all day.

If you claim to be the "best team" ever, how can you blame a loss of one player?

I never thought the pats fans would make so many lame excuses about the game they were crushed by a giants defence
and shot down by an offence that would not quit.  The team that wanted it most won!!!!! They was no talk of bradys problem by all the fans that told we would be blown out of the game!

All this big talk about leaving their girlfriends home. There isn't a one of you that wouldn't take Brady or Romo's girlfriend EVERYWHERE.  So, learn why both the Pats and Cowboys lost and don't worry about either one gettin great snapper....

The giants actually suck bad but got the lucky bounce of the ball.  If they would have creamed the Pats by 40 points I would agree with everything said but thats not what happened here.  Despite being pounded by the Giants defense there were about 3 plays that were altered by the gods of sport and were the difference makers despite the defensive stand by the Giants.  It wasn't that good.  Had just one of those plays gone the another way, all you **** Pat bashers wouldn't have a leg to stand on.

The Giants got a pass by the gods of sport, they still suck. The New England Patriots are still man for man the best Team in the NFL.  Winning one Super Bowl by shear luck and bounce of the ball  like the giants did is not even come close to running the regular season table like the Patriots did.

no, it's ironically similar to running the table "like the Patriots did"...
if not for a few lucky bounces by the "sports gods", the Patsies wouldn't have "run the table"
they lucked in to beating the Eagles, among a few others,  who mortally suck...
of course You biased or blind arrogant assed Patriot fans just don't see it that way, I'm sure...
You probably didn't see pretty boy Brady running for his life from the Giants' defense the whole game either...If the Giants suck, Your Patsies suck even more...right along with Your poor sportsmanship and attitude...

Patriots are a dynasty, Giants are just nasty. Wait till you see how bad the Giants get crushed next year and watch how the Patriots will once again dominate. I can't apologize for perfection. Great coaching. Great execution. Team spirit.

You obvious can't read well or have selective reading because I did comment on the Giants defense pounding the Pats but the game was still what? 14-17? 13-17?  Far from a dominating performance by the Giants. There were 3 plays that were the difference makers and the Giants got the bounce their way. I am glad for the Giants but the Pats are still the better team.

Next year you root for the flat tire called the Giants and I'll root for the turbo machine called the Pats.

so You say there were 3 plays that made the difference...the Giants "got lucky" 3 times, but the defense pretty much had their way with Brady a lot more times than that.
quote:

You didn't counter my statement that the Pats regular season record was dotted with lucky bounces.
A lucky bounce is occasionally part of the game. You can also say that the Pats were better than the Colts last year, so that's 2 years in a row NE lost the super bowl to inferior teams. Hardly a sign of the best team ever.

I don't think I'd call Pats best team ever......I'm not standing by while they are trashed talk'd and not enter the fray either because they lost the Super Bowl. The score does not reflect a team that was dominated by a dominant team. And yes the Pats streak in the reg season was as well obtaind by the benevolent generosity of the gods of sport and the bounce of the ball at times.  In most part, the forumula for the Pats luck is opportunity and preparation coming together.   The wheels fell off in the Super Bowl.  It happens.
