Huray for all 5 Giants fans in the world. The network estimated that ratings were down 30% because no one wants to see the Giants.[:'(]On a side note it is hilarious that they ruined the Pats perfect season.

NEW YORK -- The New York Giants' thrilling victory over the New England Patriots was the most-watched Super Bowl ever, with 97.5 million viewers, Nielsen Media Research said Monday.
The game eclipsed the previous record of 94.08 million, set when Dallas faced Pittsburgh in 1996. More people watched Sunday's game than all but one American television broadcast ever, the "M*A*S*H" finale in 1983, which was seen by 106 million viewers.
The game had almost all the ingredients Fox could have hoped for: a tight contest with an exciting finish involving a team that tried and failed to make history as the NFL's first unbeaten team since 1972.
The Giants ended New England's bid for perfection 17-14 in a game where the teams were never separated by more than a touchdown.

I stand corrected. Analists estimated a week before the game that ratings would be down because the Packers were eliminated. I still hate the Giants. Even if it was a great game.

I didn't care either way. I was glad to see the Packers out but for the Super Bowl didn't care much. It would have been cool for the Patriots to go undefeated but at the same time it was awesome for the upset.

Never been a fan of Eli's, thought he was a baby over the whole chargers deal, however it was a great game. Offense came through in the end and their defense is what kept it close all game.
