I thought that bike looked familiar.  I am constantly perusing the used Ultra's on the corporate web site:

http://www.harley-davidson.com/used_bikes/AdvancedSearch.jsp?locale=en_US&bmLocale=en_US

I remember seeing this one and I think they were originally asking high 40's.  There's another two toned used 2005 or '06 w/ sidecar for 19000$ w/ 19000 miles in a Wisconsin HD dealer.  Its a good lookng bike for a decent price.  I have a 1998 Ultra with the premium sidecar and got it for a great price too.  Its not as nice a paint job as yours but after black I liked 2 tone beige and brown.

I was stationed in Ft Riley, Ks and have ridden two wheels in Iowa. Even attended a college wrestling match between Iowa and IU when Dan Gable was coach back in the mid 1970's. Got his autograph and photo! Those long stretches of road are dangerous in the winter when the crops are cut down and the wind is whipping across.

she's a looker.  I should have known by the color scheme it was an '08. I'll be darn, I bet they didn't make to many combo's like that in '08. Good luck with that and how does your sig other like riding in the sidecar.  Mine was reluctant at first but after a few toy runs and all that attention she likes it now.  We will be heading for Ashville in May for a few days and she'll know more about how she likes riding long long distance.  We are practicing for retirement which doesn't hapen for another 10 years. SOB. I hope I make it.

Need to get together when you get to Asheville, I live just outside Hendersonville. If you come up 25 or I-26 from I-85 you will be passing by.

Thanks for the offer and can do.  Looking forward to it. Don't have a calender right in front of me but it will be the Friday Saturday Sunday and Monday of May 11-12-13-14 something like that.  As we get closer I'll send you an email and exchange phone numbers.  I was originally heading to the Myrtle Beach all harley drags but I'd been there done that so I decided to go in the oposite direction of the maddening crowd.

I tried to transfer to Ashville VAMC last february '07 but didn't get the job else I'd be living there.

silver,

There wasn't at the time I looked but there is now.  Nice looking set up.  I like those side car mounted headlites.  Did your sidecar come with that or did you add it? I need to look into that for mine and nite tme driving safety.  Bet it lites the road up huge.  Does it have a high and low beam or just one setting?

Who is the manufactorer?

chrisflhtc,

Rain or shine you're passenger stays dry!  Is the door/lid on a hydrolic arm?  Can you lock the passenger in (say if it was your mother in law)..  And great job on matching the color scheme on the sidecar to the bike.  Dead on. Looks like someone could comfortably fall asleep in there to the gentle buffing of the wind and the steady hum of the tires.

Got my new bike, it's an Ultra Classic with a Lehman kit. I sure do like the way it handles and steers.

No raked triple tree, it steers great and gives great feed back in the corners. My Harley Dealer says that Lehman doesnt recomend rake kits but I have not found anything saying that to be true. They use the Baker reverse also instead of Champion.

I bought 2008 Roadglide and had a Motortrike kit installed. Had the champion reverse gear added ( havent been in a spot to need so far! ) Pingle shifter ( lost my left leg above the knee in 07 while riding a Superglide I had )  103" stage II motor with all the Screamin Eagle goodies, Heads Ported and polished by Branch in California. Vance N Hines Pro pipe , S.E.R.T. 101Ft TQ 92HP

I will tell anyone who wants to get a trike added to a new bike, As long as the dealer you buy the bike from is the one who works on it you should be fine with with your warranty repairs. Take a trip and have a problem having a different dealer work on it. You better be ready to pay for your reapirs and lose your warranty. I know, it happened to me!!!

Just came back from a trip in and through NC and I saw a spyder trike(2 wheels in the front, 1 wheel in back) with a trike kit on it.  I was on my bike and couldn't get a photo.  But it was one of the can am spyder trikes but it had a rear trike wheels kit on the back of it? The trike kits name began with an "H" I believe.

http://www.motorcycle-usa.com/Photos/Can-AM_Spyder_rr34.jpg

or maybe it was this one:

http://thekneeslider.com/archives/2007/09/24/honda-gold-wing-quad-from-hannigan-motorsports/

I didn't think anyone else made a 2 wheels in front trike at the time.  The name Hannigan was on it and I figured it was a spyder with a hannigan rear trike kit but according to this link hannigan has teamed up with Honda to make a "plush" goldwing/hannigan quad?

Go figure someone is findoing a way to change a motorcycle into a car, lol.
