We made it back too no problem. It was a nice ride home. Glad I got to see everyone again but it seemed like not much time to get to catchup. We'll have to get a ride going soon to get everyone together again.

It was great to see everyone again, and meet the ones I hadn't meet before this event~ Although it was hard keepin the entire group together... I blame this on the Grand Poobah not being there! .. it was still a blast~ I've got a few pics I'll get posted after editing and resizing~ Thanks to BDM and his lady for riding out with us to the Crackle Barrel! It was great to do the 'Happy Dance" with ya'll~ Sorry 'bout loosin ya's in the crowd, but glad you made it home safe~ We got in about 7:30pm... tired, and sunburnt in spots, as well~ Best sleep I've gotten in days! Big props to Mike(wingnutt) and Stu(2003flhpi) for leading the way to Kimbo's and the rest of the crew... and then into and out of Leesburg~ Couldn't have made it through the day without you guys... thanks! We'll have to get together for another day of riding again soon~ Best wishes and prayers sent for Bob~ Keep us up to date on his condition, Mike(wideglide)~

I had a great time also. Thanks to everyone for letting me ride along. And to Mike and Stu for leading us to Mt Dora and to the lead to 19. Best wishes to Bob and his family. I'll be checking back to hear news about him. I'm so worn out today, I think I'll go back to bed

Great pics LadyHawk. First time for me to go to Leesburg. HOT!! After riding Main St. I am probably due for an oil change. Didn't know a Heritage could get that hot and not explode. On my way out had a young girl in a Mustang rear-end me at a stop sign. Three blocks from where we were parked. Just lucky that I saw her and moved forward and it just pushed in the rear fender. Had both feet on the ground, so I didn't fall, but sure scared the crap out of me. Made for a tense ride home. I'm fine, just thankful it was only a fender and it didn't bend it to the wheel. I'll post my pics later. Really enjoyed seeing everyone who was there and all the new friends I made. Prayer for Bob and his family. Keep updates posted. PS - Kered I really enjoyed riding down to Leesburg/Mt. Dora with you. Wideglide95th you have an outstanding son.

Hey guys, I had a good day. Thankfully we got done there and home again without incident. Very sorry to hear about Bob, and now HDRick's bump. I saw 4 motorcycle accidents yesterday, not counting Bob's and Rick's. Aside from some of us whitnessing one crash, and passing another one the way to Leesburg, I saw two more shortly after their occurance while getting home again. All of this was a little un-nerving and definitly took a lot of fun out of the day. I put a video together that highlights Leesburg's Main Street crawl. That was amazing. It took us almost 30 minutes to get through what we did before turning off to find a side parking lot. It was GREAT to see folks at Mount Dora, and bumping into a few again in Leesburg. What a packed, hot place. I hope you enjoy the video: Leesburg Bikefest 2008

Hey everyone, I was able to change my plans at the last minute on Sat. Made it to Cracker Barrell around 10:00 on my way to Daytona. I think I should have yelled NUTZ to find you guys, have not meet you yet so I was not sure if you were there or not. Got caught up in the biker down at Sand Mine Rd and 27, the guy was airlifted out. Is this Bob that yall are talking about? If it is hope all turns out well and we will be including him in our prayers. HDRick, glad it was just a fender bender, good heads up.

Guess I'm in the same boat as Sofadog. I was at CB about 9:15 but couldn't identify anyone. I yelled "Nutz" in the parking lot once but everyone just looked at me like I was crazy...guess I should have tried it inside. Oh well we'll hope to meet everyone another time. My wife and I had a good day. Our thoughts and prayers are with Bob. Jay

JB Hey Jeb Bob was sitting at the table behind us at C.B., he is a freind of Mike (wideglide95th) He made the ride up with the south group. After breakfast, he left before we did. Shortly after we left we got stopped in traffic while they airlifted him out. As we rode by, Mike recognized his bike, and stopped to ask a deputy if he could look at the bike. Deputy confirmed it was him. not sure what happened, Someone in our group was told it was a hit and run.

I don't know Bob, but I'm heartbroken reading this. May the Good Lord lay His healing hands on Bob and his family. I will keep Bob in my prayers.

She was smiling and called his grip "Vulcan Handles". She just happens to be that instructors wife. Not sure I heard it correctly, but it sounded like "Vulcan Handles".
