My SG, finally in: D'OH!! Haven't even gone home to see it yet, and it's in this state! This is Phase One, mostly cosmetic, a lot of powdercoating. Phase Two is some subtle paint and bodywork, that'll probably be in the fall, and Phase Three is the mechanical, need to be home for good before I tackle that one. But I wanted to get Phase One done before I go home for my riding vacation in May. So... I'll post some REAL pics when it's back together. Enjoy the ride.

That's some of the best "real" flames work I've seen. Very nice. And the images are blended into the flames perfectly. Looking good. Enjoy the ride.

I personally don't care much for flames - everyone and their uncle has them. However, yours are beautiful! Your painter is obviously very talented. Doug

I finally had a chance to snap a picture of my new Street Glide. The weather has been a little wet around here so I have only had a chance to put 850kms on her. So far I love it. I had a 98 RK Custom before and thought it was great, but the SG is GREAT!! It is Cobalt Blue, 95" Big Bore kit, S&S cams, mild head work, updated injectors, HD download, and RB Racing exhaust. It pulls hard, starts ok, no popping, no hesitation. I pulled the plugs the other day and they do not show the engine as being lean. I check my mileage on the first 2 tanks and it gave me 48mpg, (our gallon is larger in Canada). Oh, yes the front brakes sound terrible when to come to a stop, I trust my dealer will correct this at the first service. So far it's been a blast to ride. Tom

Hi Guys, Just picked up my first Harley Davidson last weekend and am very pleased with the Street Glide; had the dealer install the Comfort Heated Grips....if you ride in weather like I do (New England) you'll love them. My previous bike was a BMW 1150GS which came standard with heated grips and I never knew I needed them until I had them. The control is on the left hand side grip on the end of the bar. I need a taller screen and to install the detachable passenger backrest....to start! Thank you, Chris
