Hey All!  New to the forum.  GREAT Pics!  Thanks to all that have posted, I'm getting some great ideas!  Just bought a new '08 SG, pick it up the 3 weeks.  Can't wait!!  Question...  does anyone have any pics of a stock SG with the front lowering kit?  Any thoughts on lowering the front as far as ride quality??

Not sure what to call this yet---StreetKing?
Put a set of RoadKing leather bags on the new Street Glide to get a different look
Probably wouldn't work on most colors but I think it does on all white
NO - I didn't sell the hardbags - they can go on in about 10 min ( you have to readjust the bags mounts a little )
also got a set of 2006 Screaming Eagle slipon's -- the last of the real SE pipes - made by Supertrapp
what do you guys think?

I think it looks cool! Nice with the king bags!

Nice job on the paint - the pinstriping really compliments the bike if you ask me.

Congrats to all of you on some awesome rides..

I'm still in a holding pattern here, financing is good to go, but STHD here in Binghamton really low balled me on my trade in..I'm trading off the older (ZX12R) of my sportbikes, you would think with pre-approved finacing they would be more apt to deal....guess not..

I fully understand they don't want a sportbike on trade, but it just seems when someone walks in and is ready to deal that day on a 20K bike they would work with a guy just a little....

Today I may take a ride down Scranton and try the HD dealer down there instead..

Here's mine, picked it up 2 weeks ago Saturday and have 1600 plus miles on it. I friggin love this scoot. I now know why they put the word glide in the names of these touring bikes because they glide along the road.

Here's the (almost) blank canvas. I've added V&H Ovals, C&C seat, and Kuryakyn hiway pegs. So much more to come, will post more pics as needed.

I have the same bike and I love it. The only mods I have done are smoked turn signals, a slightly taller windshield and a curved plate frame. I plan to ride all summer than rip the bike apart over the winter. Good luck with yours I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

I had a 2004 Heritage prior to getting my SG last year. \\; Used to refer to the Heritage as my rolling barcalounger.
 \\;
After getting used to the difference in sitting positions between the two, the Glide is much sweeter on the road.
 \\;
Depending on the conditions, coming back from a 3 - 4 hundred mile jaunt on the Heritage would sometimes leave me tired. \\; So far, no matter what the conditions, the same thing on the glide just has me wanting to do it again.
 \\;
The other thing I have noticed is the big difference in front-end feel with the fairing compared to the windshield. \\; Cross-winds, etc are not as intrusive on the Glide as they were on the Heritage.
 \\;
I''d get the Glide between the two.
 \\;
Dennis

Nice ride John.
 \\;
Want to feel like putting even more on, get the adjustable rider backrest to go with it.....
 \\;
Put mine on today and initial thought was I could ride forever with the backrest on there.
 \\;
Of course the glide itself is easy to rack up the miles on.
 \\;
Need to upload some new pics of mine. \\; Rinehart tips match the SunChaser paint set now.
 \\;
