Gliderman, Yes it is a Mustang Day Tripper. It is much better than the stock seat, but you have to like a firm seat. I only ride solo so I can't comment on passenger comfort. Redleg

Looking for help with my street glide. I have a very bad bat wings and handel bar vibration at idle. It was that way new. Now I have a PC III, K&N with Vance and Hines classic slash cut slip on's. The closest map I could fine was VH long shots. Vib is better but not good enough. Also, anyone find an amp for the stock stereo (HK) ?

On your question about an amp, there is a top, state-of-the-art solution for everybody, it's the line of amps from Hawg Wired http://www.hawg-wired.com/. You can't go wrong with these amps as they are digital so they operate cool in temperature as well as low amperage draw so they won't tax the electrical/charging system. Add the new "component" speakers and you've got the best setup available at any money. Hawg Wired has just made available also their new 4-channel amp so that, now, if you want, you can add rear speakers to a King Tour Pak or...and this is awesome...you can install them into the lower front fairings. Hawg Wired is the shizzznit for sound. Get yo ride face on, axe11

Hi.. If you've never ridden a rubber mounted engine before the "shaking" at idle can seem like a 7.0 at first. I have a 2003 Heritage which is counterbalanced and at idle it is very smooth, I also have a Street Glide and the difference while sitting still is amazing. When you get your glide up tp speed does it still seem to shake? If you turn the throttle in nuetral and rev it a little does it smooth out? If so.. I think you're OK and just need to get used to it..if not you may want it looked into...

ORIGINAL: GliderXXX Desert...your bike looks AWESOME! Very nice job. What size Cee Bailey windshield is that? Mine should be here tomorrow and your height looks good. I hope I didn't go too tall at 13". How does it work? Thanks! I've got the 9" Cee Bailey, but, at my 6' height it's just a tad short. The wind was hitting me right about the bridge of the nose and vibrating my sunglasses. So I'm planning on ordering the 12 or 13" SSC. I did a little ducking down, and it just takes a couple or three inches to put me in the smooth pocket. I think you'll be sitting pretty with the 13".

ORIGINAL: GliderXXX Thanks...just hope it doesn't look goofy:) Your bike looks so good I have to make a suggestion...take it or leave it...but you really should lose those reflectors! It would look so much more sinister without them Oh, that's definitely coming. I just got lazy and didn't want to mess with them while on the vacation, wanted to go ride! I've got some other clean up the frame and wiring plans as well. Phase Two is about more body work, frame clean-up, rear fender and lighting adjustments, painting the tank console and inner fairing...and so on. Phase Three is the engine. I'm looking forward to it, now. Made the first big jump and it turned out right, so the nerves are settled. Enjoy the ride.
