ORIGINAL: effin Spiffy There's some good looking bikes here. Here's mine. '01 Police Edition. Yes I know the white wall is nasty. The back one is getting changed out to a black wall Metzler as soon as it comes in and the front will probablt get changed out within a couple of months. Thumbnail Image
My white walls looked like that when I bought my bike. I tried alot of different things, but in the end varasol was the best for really dirty whitewalls, followed by sos pads and soapy water.

Hi. I'm a new member from Australia, great Forum lot's of information, lot's of good looking bikes. Here is my new Road King Classic. Already done 2300km, love it. This is my second Harley, recently sold my 2003 Anniversary Softail, an excellent bike but I needed something for 2 up touring, and the Roady is excellent. Love the 6 speed and cruise control. The 96 cubes make up for the extra weight. I have S&S mufflers, K&N Filter and chip download etc. Also the back rest and rear rack. As usual I'm looking through the parts book for other shiny bits. The day I picked it up from the shop....0 km Home a couple of weeks later............ Last trip away to the Flinders Ranges.....................TC

G'day Wally....the pic on the road is taken up near a small town called Hawker in the Flinders Ranges in the state of South Australia. It's about 400km north of Adelaide.

We were seriously considering a new 2008 Road King but decided on this 2002 which has quite a few upgrades to her. We've had her for about two weeks now but between the rain and cold she has been sitting in our workshop. But the Lord has Blessed us here in NC with beautiful weather today and we'll be hitting the road! Thumbnail Image

Yup, still smiling. I ordered it last November. It's crimson red. Got the ABS and added Rush pipes, shorter windshield, bag locks, new shifter and rear break controls, and a bunch of chrome. May put on the sundowner seat but I like the looks of the stock. The new sundowner is smooth and doesn't match the pattern. Since the 08 seats are better than the 07's I'll give it a try. I'll get some better pictures and put them on. Just got into riding last summer and I've been smiling ever since. Longest damn winter of my life here in Ohio.

I think you will like the 08 seat. I went to Navasota, TX from Phoenix, AZ over christmas and didn't have any problems at all with comfort. In fact I recall forcing myself to stop at Ft. Stockton. I just had no problems cruising and smiling all the way there. Believe me if you want comfort that seat is perfect. Good luck with your ride, and I'll be keeping my fingers crossed your OH winter goes away real soon.

Hi guys - I'm back on 2 wheels after about a 10 year break. This is my 1st Harley & I am stoked. Thanks Downtown Harley in Seattle for all the support. I wasn't ready but had to make it happen before the Anniversary bikes were gone, it was definately speaking to me... Meet: #2210 out of 3000 Road King Classic Anniversary units. ABS Security Goodies so far: rear turn signal/running light conversion kit, lay down plate kit, chrome HD passenger foot board covers, digital oil dipstick, rider footboard extensions, classic HD chrome footboards with matching brake & shifter controls, chrome voltage regulator cover, chrome switch housings, chrome master cylinder covers, smoked turn signal lenses, Screaming Eagle smoked low profile windscreen. I got more goodie plans in store & based on everything you guys have done with your beautiful bikes, I got a long way to go.....But that will be half the fun! Sorry for the crummy phone camera pics. I am honored to be a part of the family... Thumbnail Image

Some really nice lookin' bikes out there for sure. This is my 2000 RK Classic. Just installed the RK high bars a couple of days ago. At 5'7" the high bars along with the reach seat has made a world of difference as far as comfort. No more stiff elbows!
