not sure of the part# but they're the 39mm relocate kit from JP.  they're the smaller of the 2 JP offers.

Man, the drag bars give the nightster such an insane look. Will dealers put these on for you?

They are the ceramic coated short shots. You buy them already coated.

I am sure you have been asked this many times, but what kind of pipes are on your bike? And did you have those painted glossy black? Thanks

What kit are you going to use for your tach?  When I was researching this, we figured out that the best way to go would be to get a top clamp off an XL or a Roadster and then have it powdercoated to use with the XL tach kit.  Is that what you're going to do?

Hi chacon101, yes all right.
I have ordered from my dealer the tach kit P/N 67182-07, I'll use the clamp of a 1200 roadster P/N 56115-95.

Great :)  Thanks for the confirmation of that and the part numbers.  I am sure they will come in handy for anyone else who wants a tach on their Nighsters.  Personally, I can't imagine riding a bike that didn't have one.  Maybe one day when I get old.  You know, when I am 31 or something.  Oh wait!!  That's in a month! :)

Those bars look great! They look like just what I've been trying to find. If you don't mind, what kind are they and where did you get them?

Thanks man. That's what I thought they were but wasn't sure. It helps to see them on a bike like yours. How do you like the riding position w/ forward controls? They look like old motocross bars which is what I think will be comfortable for me. Do they hit the tank at full lock? Thanks again and sorry for all the questions.

Nice tabletop in your avatar BTW...

I love the riding position. I am 6'1" so stretching out a little is good for me
I loved the broomsticks as well, but they were too hard on my wrists on long trips so I wanted some pullback.
They do not hit the tank at full lock, and it looks like I will have room to flip the mirrors under the bars as well which is good since I can't see anything other than my own arms in them right now.

Thanks on the avatar, my kid found that and said it looks like me ?!?!
