Do what you gotta do over there... I got your back no matter what. I never served but my old man put almost 30 years in the Corps. I grew up with it. A fireman has a trade with a soldier... You go there to protect my freedom, Ill protect yourfamily and yourstuff while your gone. Thanks for what you do guys.

It takes a special type of person to run into a burning building, when it's not their building or their family inside.
My hat is off to you all.
I had a good friend I grew up with die in a arson fire about 12 years ago. Some punk kid that didn't get enough "daddy time" decided the way to get attention was to light up his Dad's house. Thankfully, that POS is still serving time. And to this day he has not ever showed any signs of remorse....

I appreciate your candor, but im not a hero. The real heros are the guys and girls who sleep with their heads in the dirt and their weapon ontop of them, if they sleep at all, not eating for days and not having the luxuries I have afforded to me on a daily basis because of what they do for me. I am forever in debt to a soldier just as every other non military american is, know it or not. Any member of the services is a hero to me. I have a job to do, a tough one at times, but somebody has to do it. Just because I do it doesnt make me a hero. I was put on this earth to fight fire. Those guys over there do what they do without their bike, ol lady, home, and so on. At least Im home every other night. Ill do anything in my power to help a soldier. Sorry to hear about your friend. Some people are f***** sick. Im usually cleanin up their mess.
