Cecil Collins Marcus Vick Michael Vick The list goes on. More times than I can remember. There's a 3 year old bet at the golf course on whether Perrilloux finishes his career at LSU. The boosters there knew this way back when he first started. It's amazing he has made it this far.

You know I played a little college ball before I lost two acl's. I saw some very stupid, very talented, guys that I would have given anything to have a tenth of their talent. No heart, no brains. You would think that being the BMOC would surrifice and that they would be happy with that, and when they got to the pro level, and needed to cut loose, buy a damn island or something to hang out on. Stupid is as stupid does. P.S. Maybe they could transfer him to the basketball team, Lord knows they need the help, the Hogs put an ass whipping on LSU last week. First in football, then basketball, what is happing down there? Just joking eyeball, Les did the smart thing, that kid is trouble, maybe he will wake up somewhere down the road, shame to see all that talent get pissed away.

Doesn't even resemble basketball the way it is supposed to be played. No touching. All position. Plays run to get a man open. What they play now is uncontrolled street ball. I don't even know why they waste good money on referees. Before I quit watching I would see more fouls not called than I saw in all the years I watched before they adopted the "let the boys (who can't understand the rules) play" attitude of coaching and refereeing the game. The NBA is worse. They walk on every play. They palm the ball and dribble over their head and whcck each other on the arm jon shots all the time and no call. $$$$ I would just as soon LSU dropped basketball and put their money into the golf team or football team.

Glad to see I'm not the only one who feels this way...... basketball is a joke, and while I'll still watch a few games for teams I like..... I dont watch them nearly as much as I used to 10 years ago..... in fact, I'm so sick of the bogus calls and no calls that I can almost call a foul on every possession before the ball even gets shot...

Damn, I knew he wasn't nothing but a thug!!! It was just a matter of time before he F'ed up again. My question is if he can't stay out of trouble who are we going to get for a quarterback?

Jarret Lee is an outstanding quarterback. We'll have to go through the inexperience thing for a couple of games but he is as good if not better. That Hatch kid that transferred from Harvard is no slouch either. Plus we picked up Jordan Jefferson from Destrehan High for next year. I watched him play in the state playoffs and he is definitely good with a very strong arm. We'll be alright. It takes a team to win.

Yeah you're right, but every team needs a good leader and in a way with what you're telling me about the other QB's, I'd feel better if one of those were leading the team rather than Perrilloux, his social life is one that can't be trusted. Thanks for the info... "D"

Thanks for the info... "D" BATON ROUGE - Jarrett Lee distanced himself from Andrew Hatch at quarterback during LSU's first scrimmage of spring drills Monday at the Charles McClendon practice fields. "I think Lee probably completed more balls than any quarterback," LSU coach Les Miles said after the 30-play scrimmage. "I wouldn't make too much of it, but I'm not going to make too little of it either. He (Lee) completed the ball and threw the ball a little bit better than any other quarterback. The quarterback situation's fine. We're throwing the football well." ADVERTISEMENT OAS_AD('ArticleFlex_1'); Statistics were not available after the scrimmage, which was closed to the media. Miles was asked if the development of Lee and Hatch, or lack thereof, would weigh in his pending decision on whether to lift the third suspension of projected starting quarterback Ryan Perrilloux or kick him off the team for good. "No, it's irrespective," Miles said. "We're looking at the quarterbacks individually and enjoying the progress that's being made at the practices that are currently being held." Lee will be a redshirt freshman next season, while Hatch, who walked on last year, will be a junior. Perrilloux is still enrolled at LSU, and his name appears on the spring roster. Previous suspended players who were permanently removed from the team under Miles, though, still appeared on rosters during their suspension. Miles appeared to leave a crack in the window for Perrilloux, who was suspended for missing meetings and classes last month before spring practice began. Perrilloux, who would be a junior next season, has been suspended three times in the last 10 months. "And should there be another addition to the lineup, he'll get his share," Miles said. Wide receiver Jared Mitchell and cornerback Ron Brooks both scored touchdowns on impressive plays in the scrimmage. Mitchell, a 2006 signee out of New Iberia who will be a junior next season, made a nice catch on a screen pass and went 60 yards for the score. Brooks, a 2007 signee out of Irving, Texas, who will be a redshirt freshman in the 2008 season, intercepted a pass and sprinted 40 yards for the touchdown. Mitchell is also the starting center fielder for the baseball team and is hitting .286 with one home run, five RBIs and five stolen bases through 10 games and nine starts. "He made a great catch before the screen, and then made everybody miss on the screen," Miles said. "And this is tackle football. He had a nice go today. Ron Brooks had a nice little pick. It came off of the hands of a receiver who should have well caught the ball, but it went the other way fast." Brooks is also being looked at as a kickoff and punt returner. The scrimmage featured the first team going against the second team on both sides of the ball for about 15 plays, including a two-minute drill. "Some things were good. Some things weren't so good," Miles said. "I enjoyed the crispness of the tackling. I felt like we did some good things both run and pass on offense. It was a nice practice. We got a lot accomplished in my opinion. I like the way it's going. I think the defense had a good go. It's early certainly and there's a lot to correct, but the defense looked good. There were some good about the offense." Defensively, tackle Marlon Favorite sacked the quarterback, and safety Chad Jones m

I was always one to believe in second chances. Especially for young people who are prone to make mistakes due to lack of life experience. I've run out of patience for this guy though. I'm not second guessing Miles but, I would be practicing the other QB's right now and closing the book on Perrilloux. We definitely don't want to become another VATech or Miami thug U.
