got the side mount plate from Road 6 Customs on Ebay. They have a ton of different ones too. I had bought some LED bolts for the top of the mount, but the regular plate light lights up everything back there including the plate. Looks great on the Bones, not sure if it'd be good for others. I like it because it's yellowish like the gauges.. well the guage! lol.. It's lit, so I don't see getting pulled over anytime soon. Let me know if you wanna get the LED lights from me. I still have em. Paid $20 for em...

I have a 07 nightrain not sure if my plate light would light up the rear also. I will go check out the plate brackets online. Do you have a pic of the led bolt lights? I am in Orange, just above Villa Park and look forward to hooking up with you at Cooks soon.

Got the pipes wrapped last night.. What do you all think? I'm no sold yet... lol.. Kinda miss the chrome...

WG

Edit/PS. - Also changed the blinker plastics to clear. I left the clear bulbs up front, but have the amber bulbs in back. I know it ain't legal, but it looks soooo much better... :)

Wrap is gone... I missed the chrome!

We have the flat black crossbones on order and can't wait. The side mount license plate looks sweet. I will be doing that for sure. Nice scoot.

I think the short stacks looked better before the wrap, but then again thats my opinion, and we know what those are worth, I think longer pipes would look better wraped, I'm thinking of doing my xbones in wrap, maybe the tan color.

Yeah, I'm not sure if I like em better or not... May just take it off tonight... or just single wrap rather than double at the end... Gonna try that first, but something is off to me..

I think if you got rid of the double wrap, the wrapped pipes would look awesome!  That bike is supposed to have kind of a garage build look to it, and the wrapped pipes add to that look.

lol.. Yeah I wear em.. I have a non-dot leather wrapped german helmet, and love the look of googles with them. Plus, they keep all the wind out. I've raced mt. bikes and rode MX for so long, and have so many great pairs of googles, it's a shame not to use em.. lol...

lol  That's funny!  I raced motocross for about 12 years, and I still have a few good pairs of goggles layin' around.  I might have to give it a try sometime.  Preferably at night when no one can see me.
