I don't know about this guy, but I've noticed when people are riding in a pack, they get in a trance and just "follow the leader" and forget about looking at the traffic flowing around them.

What a way to go. Ouch.

Yup, agreed, very bad! However, I can't help but think of the phrase, "Natural Selection at Work!" I wonder if the person had children? They may be eligable for the Darwin Award.
