Get the gold out of chrome?

Is it possible to get the gold color off of chrome mufflers?

Blue Job! Search for it on J&P or a site like that. The stuff is amazing. Takes some elbow grease but it'll turn purple pipes shiny and new again.

My pipes were gold from front to back, and I used Blue Magic liquid metal polish.....worked awesome, and much cheaper than Blue Job! Thje only problem is I cant find it at any store now, I got it at Advance Auto, or Auto zone but now its not on the shelf.

Persoanlly I like a little of the Gold and/or blue on the pipes. But that is just me.
