"t": I shotone or another of allthree for over 15 years. Suffice to say I'm still well armed. I found that I liked the scenarios of IDPA the best. I have used the IDPA competition on various training situations when I was still teaching CCW classes.
The Three Gun Matches were very good in getting the shotgun and the patrol rifle into actual competition situations and therefore keeping my familiarization with them up to par.
Today, I have a special LEO job patrolling the desert all by myself. I carry a military M-4 upper on an AR-15Bushmaster lower for a patrol rifle. Anytime I am way back in the desert hills by myself, I pop off a few rounds to keep up my skills. I work every Sat. and
Sun, so don't get to compete any longer. When I retire, I will get back into 3-Gun and IDPA. ........ BC
I have my Black Badge. Right now, I'm using my Browning Hi-Power in 9mm, shooting Standard. I don't have lots of time to shoot a lot of matches, so I just do it for fun, and not ranking. I do plan on going to a Bul Transmark 1911 style gun in .40S&W at some point. Just gotta come up with the coin for the new gun.
Not yet but I'm hopefully starting 3 gun next month. My stuff isn't built specifically for competition but that direction.
I'm shooting:
Sig 226R in .40
Remington 870 w/ mag extention, ghostring rear, LE stock.
RRA AR-15 with TONS of stuff. This is my favorite gun so most of my $ has gone into it.
I can't wait to start. I think it'll be the best training/education for me.

I shoot USPSA and just bought my first Harley two weeks ago.
I shoot a G34 in Production class, but also have other "toys" as well.
I will shoot the occassional 3-gun match, we have about 3 or 4 per year at a local club. In the 3-gun match I use my Colt 6920 M4 and a Beretta 1201 (same as the Benelli M1S90)
I have a 5-digit Colt SP1 manufactured in 1972 that is probably my favorite rifle. I also havea CMMG SBR AR with a 10.3" bbl, an H&R M1 Garand and a Remingtion 1903.
And of course from shooting USPSA I have a couple Dillon 550's that I reload on.
Don't know how much USPSA shooting I'm going to be doing this year after buying my Harley though LOL I have too much fun riding it now!!!!
Shoot and RO for IDPA, USPSA, Bowling pin 3-4-5 matches, 3 guns, Single Stack classic, Polymer classic and just about every other shooting event I can attend. Usually shoot alternating IDPA and USPSA matches every Saturday night.
