one other question though........I have a HD Sundowner for street glide that I need lowered and moved back about an inch. No problm there, but when I put the seat on, I noticed the nose of the seat did not cover/fit my tank as do the stock.... can you modify the nose for a better fit? I see you have a SG also, maybe you've seen the difference.....

I haven't had any issues with the fitment of the Sundowner seat on my bike. I have one from a Road King Custom but I have had a SG sundowner on it before and the fitment was good. I can take a look at it on my bike. Have you scheduled your seat? If so I can put a note with your name on the schedule so I will be sure to check that out.

The Sundowner I sent you (you received it on 2/20/08) was never installed on my '07 Road King Classic. Any chance you could check mine too? Just hate to wait all this time and find it will not fit right. Guess I was just in a hurry to get it off to you because I knew you would be backing up like crazy.

After some thinking about it a while, it could be that the tongue on the seat needs a little adjusting. What you can do is bend the tongue closer to the seat pan and that will tighten it so when you sit on the seat it should stop raising.
