Default Full MSRP on a Tourer in Denver??

Got-dam! Am I going to have to pay full MSRP in Denver? Looking at a SG, RK, and a EG Classic at 2 different dealers has me thinking these guys are tryin to squeeze me.

With the economy the way it is I thought they would be willing to deal. What are your experiences? Are HD dealers typically sticking to the MSRP and not dealing?

Thanks!

Try Thundermountain in Loveland. Sometimes they'll deal. Sometimes not.

Best time to get them to deal is in September when they are sitting on inventory.

Bought my 08 Ultra Classic from Capital City HD in Tallahassee, Fl and got a good deal, my buddy just got same bike and dealer knocked$1,000.00 off list and then another $800.00 for the ABS so he saved $1800.00 dollars plus got very good price on trade in.

Good luck, very few places sell under MSRP on current models. I bought my EGC last december and got $1000 off MSRP in So. Cal.
The only deals were for an 07 bike.

I bought my '06 SG in October '05 when they first came out and were THE hot new bike from H-D. Just about every dealer around here was tacking $1000-$2000 onto MSRP. I was lucky to finally find someone who would sell at MSRP.

Now that it's close to riding season I'd guess the best you'd get is MSRP and maybe waive set-up fee. Some dealers here in NE are offering (depending on time of month) free first service, 15% off parts at time of purchase, and $500 gift card.

Head that the best time to buy is December/early January.

Good luck on your hunt!!!

Good luck this time of year... new models, spring around the corner, its MSRP at best with maybe some setup reduction or store card. If you are going to buy, you might go ahead and visit the proctologist and have a "pre-luber" installed. Your going to need it every time you walk in to an HD dealership.
