Like I said the other day no Moss no Brett. I think he was trying to get them to sign Moss and Shocky to make one last run at the Super Bowl.

Brett was IronMan. What did he start? 250 straight games? That is as tough as it gets.

It was announced on Fox Sports before it was announced on ESPN, and I generally keep those pages up at work.

He actually doesnt have the longest starting streak in the NFL, but he does own the longest starting streak for a QB. If I'm not mistaken, the longest streak belongs to an offensive lineman.

The next longest QB streak is Peyton Manning's 150+ games, and if he manages to stay healthy for another 6-7 seasons, he'll break Favre's record. In fact, I'd be surprised if Manning doesnt break all of Favre's records...well....everyone but the Interception record

Just a couple of comments:

Farve leaving sets the Packers franchiseback a decade. Aaron Rogers ain't getting it done.

The Lions, Bears and Vikings organizations are no doubt doing happy dances right now.

From my point of view, with the exception of McNabb's first five years as an Eagle, no QB in my lifetime was more fun and exciting to watch than Brett Farve.
